Hawk and BJ were indeed Everything to each other, they both admit as much. Having experienced what they did and the utter abominations this "police action" committed towards humanity and forced these soldiers to live with, (and by the way neither WERE soldiers or "regular army" as they so loved to point out)

I watched the Episode when BJ Hunnictt was introduced the first night it was on CBS in my area. I was 9 years old. Little did I know then that I was witnessing television History. It also became a piece of History for my Neighbor hood, friends, co workers and for myself. I watched it on New Years Day 2009 on DVD.

It must have ben shot as a 90 minute tv movie that was divided into 2 parts. The second part involved the Introduction of Colonel Sherman Potter. MASH went from where it was to .....

If I ever get a VCD, I plan on doing a Hawk & Beej tribute to the song "Brothers Under the Sun." This song I would use in a slide show about persecuted Christians, like North Koreans and Richard Wurmbrand. I love this song. It and the video that goes with it originally are incredibly powerful.

For MASH they did a great job showing that BJ and hawkeye were best friends. And in the last episode, were everyone goes home, you really get a sense that would miss eachother. i cried one the last episode cause it was so emotional. Still the best show ever made

Alda was a funny comedian, great in lighthearted and romantic roles, but superb in dramatic, sad and poignant performances. Ferrell and the others were great in supporting his talent.

There is nothing wrong with shedding a tear when watching M*A*S*H. All these years later I still can't watch the final episode without getting choked up. Just goes to show you the high quality that went into making this show. The viewers were able to identify with the characters and what they were going through. Every time I watch M*A*S*H, it's like seeing a group of old friends. a group of old friends that makes me laugh over and over again.

This may sound stupid but I cried like a baby when Henry died, when Radar left, and I cried the most on the very last episode. It may have been a TV show but the actors/characters were like a 2nd family to me. I rented the DVDs from my library, but I never watched one ep twice. Just seeing each ep once is enough to keep them in my heart. Stupid huh?
