i remember this game. it was fun, at some points. sure there was a few up and downs, but hell, a good game nevertheless. I wished they kept that baby park in MKW. What you said about the items, would so happen lol. So much Cluster F*** in that stage lol

I'd have to say I loved the mechanics in this Mario Kart more than any other.

Except that Petey Piranha and King Boo kind of ruined the point of the characters having special abilities...

@J35U514041093 Only thing about that. If your like in 1st its hard to get the egg. Bowser Jr and Diddy Kong are better. Giant banana into 3 small bananas plus Giant shell, WMDs. Bananas good stallers and you have to move out of the way for the shells. So doom!

I'm surprised at how similar the courses look to MKWii's old-school courses with the component cables. Guess it goes to show how high the GameCube's processing power was...or how low the Wii's is, lol.

I think I'll stick to MKWii, though, since that's enough of an obsession for me, I'm sure.

Baby Park has a remake on the DS where it only has 5 laps. Shortest track in the entire Mario Kart set. Yet it's a pretty funny track. and it's so easy so mess opponents in. Why was this not in the Wii version that would be so awesome
