Peopl constantly are telling me, how slowly the years and the months and the days have been passing by. No lie bigger than that has ever beeng told to me. Everything has mved by too quickly. This past January I was taken into a family, and in just a few more months a year will hve passed. I only have three years left until I'm an adult. I wish time would move more slowly, so that I could have more time with the people who cared enough to adopt me.
Just wait until you are about 60, move back home and see people you haven't seen 40 years. I didn't miss this until I got back. Now, it's become part of my heart and soul. I realize how special it was to be able to grow up in a fishing village with a wild and crazy Mama, a beach and great friends.

Life hit me pretty hard and I had to grow up way too fast when my father died. I was 18 when he did and I had to step up to help take care of my momma. I'd give almost anything to go back to being a kid when things were easy and simple. I'm 21 now and life is just going by way too fast. Enjoy things while you can.

Sorry to disagree with all y'all - I don't miss "this". I wouldn't go back to HS for anything and as a parent, I raised 3 boys who are all in their 20's and 30's now. I occasionally miss the connection we had while watching them grow up but I LOVE where they are now and would NOT want to go back in time. It's great to have wonderful memories - don't need to relive them. It's what you learn along the way that matters. Have a GREAT life, wherever you are.

I just graduated in the spring and I hadn't cried at all about moving on with life. This song just made me cry the most since I've graduated. All of my friends are leaving for school or are getting to go back to High School (younger than me) and I'm getting to the next stage of my life. I can appreciate this song so much as I'm on the Mom end now and my babies are almost grown. It goes by so fast. One day it's "my little pony" and the next it's "my own apartment". If you love someone, tell them and never stop telling them.

This song makes me cry, I try to tell my dad this all the time. He ruins all the happy moments we could have by fighting over all the little things. Sometimes i just wish he could slow down and look around and appreciate what he has instead of wish it was better....

Today, after 14 years i went back to my old high school to get my transcript to start college and just being there brought back so many memories! i just wanted to cry. time doesn't stop! you know some ppl dont realize what they had until they leave there hometown but this video is true it was filmed in sarepta and plain dealing louisiana which trace is from sarepta and the video was filmed in sarepta and plain dealing so please dont forget where u came from because you will miss it eventually and will end up back there

My brother died on memorial day rescuing a father and son who had come to the ocean to celebrate the oldest daughters wedding the day before. He left 2 baby girls behind...he made every moment with them count. The family he saved is now wracked with guilt and its the hope of our family that they can come to terms with my brothers sacrifice and remember to appreciate every day they have together and each of those special moments his sacrifice mad possible. Dont ever take life for granted...

its hard to believe how fast ur life goes. When ur life is almost over, makes u want to go back. U miss ur parents and all u can ever think about is how much u would love to see them again. So before u even think about growing up just stop and take it step by step. Everything will get to u in time.

Sorry to disagree with all y'all - I don't miss "this". I wouldn't go back to HS for anything and as a parent, I raised 3 boys who are all in their 20's and 30's now. I occasionally miss the connection we had while watching them grow up but I LOVE where they are now and would NOT want to go back in time. It's great to have wonderful memories - don't need to relive them. It's what you learn along the way that matters. Have a GREAT life, wherever you are.

im 25, a single mom to a 4 year old son, and i really do miss those days. i miss my highschool years, i miss my irresponsible teenage years, i miss hanging with my friends every weekend, i miss not worrying about having a job because i was in school and my parents supported me, i miss my son's infant years, the ones that back then i couldnt wait to leave behind especially the waking up every 3hrs and the constant crying when he had colic...but now i miss it all. life goes by too fast.

Nostalgia hits hard. Even at 18... I always wished to grow up to make my own rules and have my own place and make my own decisions.. Now I wish I could be with my family, be with my ex... My one wish is that I can see the cherishable moments in life and savor them. I miss hugging my Nana, and I miss waking up smelling breakfast and going downstairs to see my family up and together... I really miss my family

This song is so good. I am young but my parents are divorced and two or three years ago I had to choose between living with my mom or my dad. I know there are people worse off but a lot of times I wish so much that I could just skip this time in my life. This song helps me remember that I need to slow down

if you think about it every kid wants time to hurry up almost everyday (like me)... during school... but sometimes we just need to have a wake up call about what is after school... how much responsibility there is... so instead of wanting school to be over... take your time

Life is rough, but that's what makes the good moments so special. But your children will always need you. Trust me. I am one tough kid but I couldn't make it without my mom.

This is such a true song. I am 23 years old i had my son 3 years ago. It doesnt seem like 3 years has passed. I was all ready to leave my parents home..now i miss being home with my parents. I ve been on my own when i moved out on my own after h s graduation in 2005 i was 18. Time flys by so fast you dont think of it when you younger.

I think about being younger and in school and wanting to grow up and I miss those times so much... Then I think about when my daughter was born and how scary and beautiful it was taking care of her and I miss those times so much as well. She's five now and I know I'll have more of these thoughts for as long as I live... I hope. :)

you know, when i was younger, i was always saying i wish i was an older age. i wished i was 16, then 18, then 21. i'm now 22 and wish i would have not been in a hurry to grow up and just enjoyed life as it was. not only am i not in contact with half the people i went to school with but i don't even have a boyfriend or kids. so i ask myself, why was i in such a hurry to grow up for? this is a very good song and makes me cry every time.

Im 18 and anyone who is reading this, slow down you can never go back, age brings more responsibility enjoy it while you have it, Mom and dad make their rules to protect you, and when you get out and on your own you will realize it was for your good, I miss being 6 years old every year that goes by i miss it now.

I just graduated in the spring and I hadn't cried at all about moving on with life. This song just made me cry the most since I've graduated. All of my friends are leaving for school or are getting to go back to High School (younger than me) and I'm getting to the next stage of my life. But I just want to re-live my senior year over and over again. Or be a sophomore again. Because that was the best year of my life.
