Can someone explain why these are "worth" the large amount of money they charge? I made a similar system from 304 stainless tube; end piece, muffler shop bent the pipe from the header and inside glass pack tube design? Because that's all they are a glass pack on a pipe.. I found the muffler end cap has allot of the way it will sound and this sounds like it's farting. Larger holes would take that out and mine is half as loud.

Sweet....I see you put the extra mirrors....I did too on my 2000 R11RT...makes a huge difference....I have the same Saddle as well

I have to agree, should have left it stock. If you want a straight four growl then get a Jap bike. BMW boxer engines don't sound well with a performance exhaust, they're meant to be a quiet bike.
