John wasn't a very happy man and you can feel it by the way he needed to build himself a sort of "character". Hopefully this won't be misunderstood, I Love John Lennon and he had a wonderful sense of humour, and a sharp mind. But I think he was genuinely happier with Yoko than in his childhood, really.

Yes - it's Kenwood in the St. George's Hill Estate in Weybridge. John and Cynthia lived there from about 1964 to 1968 (when they divorced). Lennon / McCartney had lots of songwriting sessions in that house. McCartney wrote Hey Jude in the car on his way to Weybridge to see Julian in 1968! It's now the estate Cliff Richard lives in! I cycled round the area a few years ago and saw the house as well as Ringo's former house - also in the same estate.
