@KnqsX i was born in 1994, atleast i only got into GNR lots less than 1year before chinese democracy came out, so no waiting :)

i agree, they had problem, axl being wierd, drugs, new drummer, but the main problem was appetite was written when they all lived together in a garage or something, just scraping through. once they became rich from appetite money there wasnt as much inspiration, and the mean/gritty sound of GNR was gone, cuz it no longer applied.

@thejungle87 Dude you need to read up on your GN'R history. Axl... not weird. The new drummer replaced the only one with a drug problem. They never lived in a garage. Lastly listen to their follow up albums... their was no lack of inspiration. They tried to take the band into a new direction with the Spaghetti incident and when it didn't match the success of the Use Your Illusion duo it put stress on the band. Stress that eventually led to the break up.
