Im pissed that the aid money my country sends is diverted to developing Eurotrash housing for the bourgeoisie. While not directly being diverted though, most likely the reason the Ethiopian government gets aid money is because they blow their entire budget on financing shit like what's in the video and don't have enough money to feed the starving people. I think the first world governments need to audit countries like these that receive aid money.
Please clarify to me because I hear a lot of Ethiopians complain about Ayat, and I don't understand what the problem seems to be and I am afraid to try, can you please clarify

investment is allowed in the realestate and tourism.Weather is all year good,not hot and not very cold.Just like Dubai,Thailand let foreginers come to this city and spent their winter months when it is very cold and snowey in their own country.This will create lots of Jobs

I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.
Moving to Addis for good on November 1st. I am looking to buy in Sunshines development. Like Rasxilinx said cash is king in Ethiopia. Middle class is very small, but will grow as more business people like myself mover there and start companies. Lets make it the next Dubai.

I am Ethiopian and I will be honest with you. In Ethiopia if you have money you live very good life. You can get top quality health care everything else. But, 'that is a big but', if you are poor life is very hard. I also know things are getting better and we Ethiopians will work hard to make peoples life better.

Very good development! those who oppose this video, you are not true Ethiopian, why don't you like seeing good things in Ethiopia? Think +ve.Don't look at the beuty of the houses only, look at the people who helped making it happen, are the poor ones, so they are getting a job;atleast they can support themselves or familly.
Well you have to be realistic. Ask yourself what do the majority of Ethiopians need? villas? I don't think so. Just because there are couple of high rises and new villas in Addis, that doesn't mean we're moving in a positive direction. In fact its the wrong direction for a country of 50% of the population lives under a $1 a day.
I agree with u. Just because there are nice home that doesn't mean economy is growing. The majority of those house owners are people who live in outside of Ethiopia. This past month one of the oldest hospitals is closed because they couldn't fix it, at the end people who do not have money suffer.
angel1528, Let's not forget, when they build houses they need labor,atleast unemployment rate will go down with a little %age. so I would say it is a good move for the people.
I don't think the development shoud be that important as who will live in those house ethiopian or non ethiopians. In mang poor countries they have houses like that but the native population isn't the majority living in them. I suggest ethiopians be coreful and watch out for those who will take the wealth out of the country
As a black brit born too Jamaican parents I love the video it shows a positive face to Ethiopia and Africa that I rarely see here in England. I will be in Ethiopia again next year for the fith time I love the people and the country.

in 2007 Ethiopia had an 8.5% ecomomic growith. that is 14th highest growith in the world!
In 2020 Ethipia will be considerd a middle income country.
