  • Shot on Monday, February 5th, 1968 in Copenhagen, Denmark for the Danish film, "On A Saturday Night."

Smiles & Grins — the original Jack Bruce Appreciation Society

  • This is from Denmark not Holland!

  • 0:25 0:17 Ginger's like "I can't hear what the hell are you saying"

  • LOL@ weed tea... more like magic mushroom tea...

  • I can't believe to this very day, I saw Ginger Baker's same exact bass drum with the cream logo at hard rock cafe. Amazing how something so simple has a nice history behind it. :) Just like the one in the video.

  • Is Jack Bruce playing a regular guitar as a prop or is it a baritone guitar?? I didn't know he played a baritone if so.

  • Very nice.

  • We had our share of hippies (to much of 'm) but this was not filmed in Holland. It's Denmark. Copenhagen probably. Very nice clip though. Wish they would have filmed it here in Amsterdam.

  • Those flower babies are probably head of corporations now.

  • That Ginger Baker is a slam trip. Doubtless he knows he's being recorded but doesn't do a good job of faking it. Great video though. Cream rules!!!

  • @farblosaludiert well I bet tripping on something... Come on Id do the same. If youre not even playing in real, just have to sit there and of course youre in fucking amsterdam :D

  • Amazing clip and so rare! I thought I'd seen all the clips of Cream but you've proved me wrong!

  • také nečo treba zorganizovať aj na Slovensku

  • wow, i didn't know the "band on truck" motif ist THAT old...

  • @WizardofFuzz it started in the 1930's or before ,in the south of the U.S., flatbed trucks would go thru a town to advertize a show.

the Stones did it in '75, playing Brn Sugar in NYC. Mick J. said it was Charlie Watt's idea. it was brilliant - there's a video of it on here.

  • Now that is one happy baby at the end... probably my favorite part of the whole thing.

  • what a beautiful little film this is...

    such beautiful, psychedelic colours...
