  • lol i love how in the 80s even the horror movies have a ballad in them

  • I have bought a sealed lp of this soundtrack.

    Wooohooooo YES!

  • Hello - I was wondering whether someone who has the Day of the Dead soundtrack CD would mesg me. Im desperate for a copy and would be happy to share my Breakin' and Breakin' 2 movie soundtracks (also very rare and bloody expensive)

    Please!

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS

    Try eBay.

  • @arcyfatale

I've just bought a new/sealed casette tape off eBay. Looks like I'll need to make a digital transfer from it.

I was hoping someone might already have a CD quality copy floating around. Pretty hard to find arent they!

    Cheers :)

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS

yes, very rare. good thing i kept my LP, single, cassette and scarce limited CD.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS

I actually have friends that were in Breaking 2.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Or try Amazon.com, thats where I got my LP from a few years ago.

  • @schultz1963

I bought my Day of the Dead soundtrack when it first came out back in 85.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS use Emule!

  • If tomorrow comes...then it would surely be a miracle.

  • @MRresievil310

Depends on what the tomorrow that comes.

  • @SIGN666 This song wasn't in the movie. I guess it was one of those tracks that did not make the final cut. great song though. I'm glad they released it on the soundtrack.

  • I have this LP. I've even had Tom Savini and "BUB" sign it. Even the Remake of this film is terrible. I also have some unopened casettes of the soundtrack, that I found in a bin from a music store that was closing down.

  • @schultz1963

Yes, The Day of the Dead remakes are horrible. I'm not sure if the producers knew what Romero was doing in the original. A zombie film is no good unles there is some kind of commentary to social satire.

  • @schultz1963

I'll take an un-opened tape soundtrack. The Harrison score is one of my faves.

  • @Dogbandit

eBay had a few un-opened soundtrack cassettes. I bought a copy as a collectible backup in case somehting happened to my LP or CD copy.

  • to all who saw Day of the Dead, never see Day of the Dead 2 Contagium, it sucks

  • @UltimateDumeandGwen

Day of the Dead 2 Contagium, it sucks

` I agree. The movie was horrible.

  • @arcyfatale Yes The part that truly made it suck was this part.

    *Dude pokes his finger*

    I'm not bleeding

Me: Bull shit Zombies bleed all the time.

  • @UltimateDumeandGwen too late.

  • this movie is the best I could watch it all day :]

  • super

  • good song but i don't recall it being in the movie release.

  • @RoganStuart

good song but i don't recall it being in the movie release.

~ It wasn't. "The world inside your eyes" was for the end credits. Good stuff. Thanks for watching.

  • I fully credit Sputzy for "shaming" me into getting up and singing in public for the first time almost 20 years ago at Frederick's in Moon Township (Pittsburgh)... ah, some would say he created a monster that night.. LOL. What an INCREDIBLE voice this man has to this day!

  • Thank you for uploading this piece!

I used to have the soundtrack record from this movie(Day of the dead), back in 1985.

But it was lost when my family moved to another house while I was overseas.

So I am really glad to be able to listen to this melody again.

  • Can't believe this isn't more popular song! One of my favorite movie songs. Thumbs up!

  • @m4ffe

Yeah, I certainly agree with you. But in 80's, zombie movies goers were still often regarded as some sorts of the freaks or the abnormals unlike today. Thanks to the world-wide hit of the 'Resident Evil' series, it has been becoming more main stream entertainment. It is really a pity that the song of this quality remains unknown, isn't it?

  • You should hear "The World Inside Your Eyes".

  • Just out of curiosity, how many tracks are in this soundtrack?

  • six tracks on the vinyl record and cassette , The CD has more.

  • Thanx, I don't think this track is in the movie and I probably would have never heard it otherwise. The practical special effects in this movie were awesome.

  • @arcyfatale good luck finding though

  • @Atraue100

There was also a 45 single The World Inside Your Eyes.

  • I want to see it badly and I'm glad troops like you upload the Synth soundtrack.

  • Day of the Dead is l available on dvd, blu-ray. I'm glad I snagged a copy or should I say copies.

  • awesome! how did you manage to snag a limited edition CD? =D

  • one day it just fell into my hands. lol! actually, i bought the cd from a friend that owned a sci-fi Super Collectors shop years ago. The last I heard of John, he was selling TVs. The last I seen him, he was next to Star Wars cast that were signing autographs at a convention.

  • Now I wanna see the movie...

  • watch the movie. It's truly the darkest day the world has even known.

  • @nozybtch1 go see it IT'S AMAZING AND GORY
