Ness. Lucas, and Ninten (Or other's if you want) wake up in a new world (Insert world name here) and have to battle an old yet still terifying threat... GIYGAS REBORN... using a time loop created by porky after learning that he would be stuck in the absolutely safe pod, Giygas has become Immortal, so our heroes Must fight both Giygas, Giegue, and possibly Gyig's Race to defeat this simingly invincible threat in... MOTHER: The Return of Giygas.

the story seems a lot more like Earthbound's...., I always figured that Pokey Would be broken out of the absolutely safe capsule by Starmen while Giygas is reincarnated into a robotic humanoid form, and clash's the native timezones of Ninten, Ness, and , Lucas where they are forced to team up with their friends, and then as their paths cross, Ninten, Ness, & Lucas would team up Leaving their friends and face Giygas altogether as 3 True Heroes.

I agree with not adding any more characters. I didn't like the fact that Ness wasn't in Mother 3. I also think and I think many will agree with me is that Giygas should return in the next game. I mean the whole reason I like the Mother games is to see Ness beat up Giygas. I know fan games are tough to make but best of luck!

I think when the Mother series started like all games they start off with an idea and it grows after time. Mother 2 could have been a remake of Mother more like Super Mario Bros. compared to Super Mario World. Same story but different ideas. I'm probably wrong. It just seems to coincidental.

@ZAPPSOFT I have heard that Ninten was the default name in a lot of nintendo of japan games. They even used ninten as one of the default names for link in the japanese version of the legend of zelda.

@XNintendrewX I wish that would happen too, but there are plenty of reasons why Mother 3 sadly won't be translated into America, such as the copyright issues with the music (EarthBound has that same problem), and the use of alcohol, swearing, and even drug references. If it was released into America, the ESRB would probably rate it between T and M because...face it. Americans like us (Despite me being Canadian) are somewhat immature... :(

Alcohol, drugs, and even swearing could be toned down and changed up a little. It's just such a cold reality that we'll never see an official translation for it. >.< Earthbound I don't really mind, seeing as I own an original cartridge, but I refuse to use an emulator to play any game. I'd rather just buy the Japanese Mother 3 and try my best to get through it.

They just want the attention of being the great one that created the sequel.
