  • Lol you are boy

  • @5EBASlo96 Why not? :)

  • Comment removed

  • Wow - thank you!

  • thanks :)

  • It wont allow me to save as an .srt. When I try it saves it as caption.srt.rft or .srt.txt or whatever it is set to. Any ideas?

  • @BabyGoatNet don't use wordpad, use notepad instead and when saving the file select: Save as type --> "all files (*.*)" and then any file name with ".srt" in the end

  • At the ending your gonna choose what type of language you want it to be translated too? or what language was the thing you wrote?

  • I tried uploading the .srt file but youtube said "The file you uploaded could not be processed. Please check the file format "

    HELP

  • @Crazypie210 Did you download the file from Youtube and edit it in TextEdit or something like that?

  • @ColtonsVideos I wrote it from scratch in notepad just like the video showed you how

  • @Crazypie210 Ok, I won't troll you anymore, but for Just A Thought, I did it a different way, but never finished, haha

  • @ColtonsVideos Im trying to make english subtitles for my spanish video

  • @Crazypie210 Just go the subtitles section, download and edit the file, then reupload it

  • Wow!!! This was an answer to prayer! Thank you SO much!! Love it!!

  • Sandburg Spartans, I am not clear on how to do this. I know how to create a file of what th closed caption will read and then save it. What do I do with it from there? How do I incorporate it into the video. This is what I am unclear about. Thanks

    _Randall

  • @MrBudata Oh ya, my video has 86,518 views and I've helped thousands of people. You on the other hand have a few videos and hardly any views. Go troll somewhere else, everyone here hates you ;)

  • @SandburgSpartans I have only few videos and I started upload an year ago. So one of my videos reached 20k+ viewers. And why? Because it is Metallica. An year later may be the viewers will be close to yours as they now. And do you think this matters?

Be lucky and healthy you and other haters here! :))) Greetings!

  • @SandburgSpartans i love your video but please a little bit of modesty it removes the charm

  • @MrBudata I bet you'd do it muuuuuuch better... NOT!!!

Idiot, if you have nothing positive to say, why do you bother? People like you only seem to exist to cause bad vibes. The presentation is nice - it's not cold and robotized like a 'professional' presentation - it's fresh and it explains what you need to know. What a sad individual you are, MrBudata.

  • @iSayMadam I feel we're the same...

  • @MrBudata I bet you'd do it muuuuuuch better... NOT!!!

  • @thegtamasterfelix Save as "All files" in the scroll-down menu.

  • @SandburgSpartans I'm sorry but what is the scroll down menu? ( I know i'm stupid xD )

  • @thegtamasterfelix Haha, sorry I didn't explain good enough.. When you save the file, under File Name, it says Save as Type. Then save it as all files, or rtf. I haven't really tried, so you're the guinea pig; squEEk squEEk! Haha, tell me if it works....

  • @thegtamasterfelix Haha, your welcome!

  • I'm havin gthe same problem as @thegtamasterfelix,

    could you please help me?

  • i did it exactly how u said but then youtube said: track format is unknown

i saved it as .srt (RTF) exactly like in the video...pls help!

  • uh yeah a question. I did all the steps your said, and the srt thingy too. But YT told me there are 2 errors:

English: The file you uploaded could not be processed. Please check the file format and try again.

    English: track format is unknown

Is there anything else I might be missing here?

  • Thanks for the video, it came in really useful :)

  • After I made the new subtitle file by WordPad and saved it as 'Caption.srt'. Okay, but once when I uploading it after browsed the Caption.srt folder file by pressed 'file (Browse)', as it shows

'C:\User\User\Documents\Caption.srt.rtf' and then it can't upload to YouTube. The next response is 'English : The file you uploaded could not be processed. Please check the file format and try again.' and 'English : track format is unknown'. I'm annoyed as you didn't show the uploading video. How by ?

  • @Silencebound When you save, don't save as Rich Text Format (RTF). Save as Text Document - MS-DOS Format. That worked for me....

  • Moviemakerg, thank you very much as I've successfully uploaded it. You maybe come and see my 4 mins movie in 35mm film format with CC. It's :- Introduction of Four Deaf Actresses. Again, thank you very much !!

  • @Silencebound Your welcome =)

  • Do I have to use WordPad?

  • No, you don't. But make sure you still use the correct format... And try saving as "All Files" in the scroll-down menu when saving.

  • @SandburgSpartans Ok, thanks

  • thanx :)

  • @jesusssavedyouandme, I'm havin' the same problem..

  • It saves as caption.srt.rtf what do i do?

  • Isn't working for me... It saves as "Caption.srt.rft" how do I fix this??

  • Mine saves as Caption.srt.txt what do i do?

  • hey, good job, thanks for teaching people 3x older than you.

  • Thanks! The vid was really helpful!

  • When i save it it does

    subtitles.srt.rtf

    what do i do?

  • Use Notepad instead

  • If you are going to use Word, save your file as plain text, then on the next window, choose MS DOS

  • Wow! excellent video! the new voice recognition captioner on YT sucks! I definitely will give this a try!

  • hello !

how old are you ? you can use a PC like a genius !

  • When i save it it does

    subtitles.srt.rtf

    what do i do?

  • Thanks, 5* to you =)

  • Does anyone know, why when i trie to send my .srt file, it writes, that "track format is unknown"? Please help
