I can't wait to show you mine when its finished! I got creative and hammered out my own copper shims from an old piece of plumbing to make the neck fit flush to the can.
@jeffreyned Not really. It's an old tenor banjo converted to a 5 string. Probably medium strings. I prefer D adario but don't know if I had them on this one or not.
@cat2972 Unfortunately I don't make them to order. Once in a while I'll sell one I've already made. Don't have anything available right now, but am thinking of making a couple during the winter if I can. I usually get around $250 for one of mine.
Anybody seriously interested in cigars ought to take a look at this deal thompson cigar has going on at the moment, for $20 I just now got a lot of variety of cigars which was entirely worth it! Thompsoncigar-PH16.Co.Cc
That's a tenor neck converted to a 5 string. I think that song is John Hardy, but I'd have to look it up to make sure. It's one of those ancient outlaw songs, where John Hardy shoots some guy in a poker game and runs from the hang man's noose.. hahaha.
what a a cool origional sound... it's soft and whimsical... makes me think of riding a bicycle down the road as a child.. :) don' t know why, but it sounds like fun.
