One of my favorites by Queen. A little gem that goes largely unnoticed. You did a wonderful job on it! And to one of the other commenters, Brian May sings lead on the original song) his own composition), not Freddie. :)
That is awesome man! Where did you get the music from? That has to be the best alternative cover version I have ever heard! So suited to the rag-time sound of the piano
Fabulous!! And you arranged it! I've been listening to this obesessively for 30 yrs and have never heard it like this. I especially liked your "jazz band" part. You've inspired me to learn it on uke!
Thank you VERY much! Yes, I had no choice but to arrange this one, as there is no sheet music at all for this that I could find! Which is surprising, it's such a great song! But self arrangement is much better, it just feels more persona I suppose! Thanks very much, I love the jazz band part too. Very happy that I've inspired you, you should post a video or something, I'd love to see it done on a uke! Thanks once again for the extremely kind words!
Thanks! Yeah there's really no music out there for this song at all, I had to make the whole arrangement, but no complaints, it turned out better than I could ever have imagined!
Thanks SO much! One of my favourites too, glad you like my arrangement! It sounds great on piano doesn't it! Thanks again, you're very welcome! Please subscribe! THANKS!
Thanks very much, I love this song too! Unfortunately I do not have sheet music for this song, as I picked it out by ear and arranged the whole thing myself. Sorry I can't help, are you any good at picking things out by ear? Please subscribe, and thanks again for the comment!
Wow, thanks so much! I really hope Fred would be proud, and Brian too! And Roger and John for that matter! Thanks so much for the comment, very kind of you!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! For this song, first of all I got a simple chord sheet because I don't think any sheet music exists for this song. I memorised the chords and started to build an arrangement around them, adding melody and fills, that sort of thing. Finally I worked out the solo by ear, and the finished product is what you see here. It might sound complicated but it really wasn't, it's a fairly simple song. Hope that helped, and thanks again for the excellent comment!
Thanks very much! J'adore cette chanson aussi! And I also love Queen, one of the greatest bands in history! I might be able to sing this song, cause Brian actually sang it on the original record, and my voice is much closer to his range. I'll look into it, thanks!
Thank you for the comment, much appreciated! Yes, it is definitely one of my favourites from night at the opera too, such a catchy, fun little song. Glad you liked it!
