Jason and Sam are the best couple EVER..they have True Love & have always had it...Jason and Liz were NOTHING they NEVER even had a Relationship! Jason and Sam ALWAYS talk and have Loving conversations about how they feel about each other & THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE FOR ONE ANOTHER & accept each other for who they are...Jason&Liz NEVER had an ounce of that.
the jason we are seeing in 09 is a more mature person that i think finally realized he lost the love of his life which if you don't know by now is sam i love them afterall everyone deserves a happy ending
did any one know that the tramp liz will finally admit that she used jake to come between jason and sam. and that she always knew that jason was still in love with sam. and that what she did was wrong?
AND, if Sam wasn't cheating on Jason because they were (barely) broken up at the time, how do you then turn around and call what Jason did with Elizabeth cheating on Sam? It either is or it isn't! Personally, I think in both cases that makes it a little less bad, but as I recall they were in the process of getting back together and still very much in love with each other, and they both knew it, so it was a betrayal both ways.
Duh, I know that EVERYTHING that happens on soaps is the fault of writers b/c this is fiction. However, the destruction of JaSam occurred during the writers strike and whoever filled in did a horrible job. Sam tried EVERYTHING to make Jason come back to her and he kept pushing her away. Yes, it was a mistake for her to sleep with Ric, but I hate that everyone doesn't seem to think that it was a mistake for Jason to sleep with Liz.
As for Sam's mistakes being Guza's fault or the writers fault, these are fictional characters. EVERYTHING they do is the writer's "fault". Did it seem OOC for Sam to hurt a child? Yes. But once the writers wrote it that way, that means it happened. If we are going to discuss them as if they were real people, we can't blame their mistakes on "the writers". Going by that method, Jason's mistakes are all the writers' fault too. And Sam doesn't get credit for any of the good things she did.

But before all that, if you've been watching the show its shown she's a good person, if not, you're in denial. Jason said so himself even when he was mad at her, "Sam DESERVES a man who will put her first and I can no longer do that." See? Jason knows that sam deserves to be loved and because she also loves with her whole heart
I know Sam is a good person... but I believe if you watch the show it's made it clear that Jason is ALSO a good person. And they've both made mistakes, both of them have gone against the good morals we know they really have, and they've both suffered for it. So it kinda annoys me when people say things like "Sam is too good for Jason" or "Jason deserves hell for what he did to Sam". Sure, she suffered because of him, but it goes both ways. They should just forgive each other, if they can.

i mean, he did hurt sam, big time, right? so i think sam also deserves an apology, its long overdue. you're so right in saying they BOTH made mistakes. so how come sam is the only one saying sorry for those mistakes? how about a lil 'i'm so sorry i've hurt you in the past when i promised to love?' coming from jason? that would be nice.
and p.s: he didn't suffer as much. he already had another girl in his heart way before he ended things with sam. which made me loathe one of my fave characters. where's that loyalty again?
Okay, you're right that Jason needs to apologize. To me, that would be absolutely necessary before there can be any JaSam reunion. But about him having another girl in his heart before - that's unfair. What happened with Liz only happened because Jason saw Sam with Ric. She cheated on him first. Where was HER loyalty? I know she wasn't attracted to Ric, only did it to get back at Alexis, but does that really make it less of a betrayal to Jason?
