  • i dont know yet but this summer im going to work on a summer job i think im going to get paid about 3500 dollars if i get that much i can aford 4 of these a truss and dmx controlier but i may only get 3000 over the summer if i do i can only aford 3 of these would having only 3 movin heads on a truss look weird since its not an even number

  • The Toplite Merlin C20 has the exact same LED lamp as the X-Move .. Its from Cree and its the MC-E ... The X-Move is slightly brighter than the Q-Spot and the Merlin-C20 is brighter than the X-Move due to the optimizer in the optic ... I recommend the Merlin-C40 ... It's brighter than an MSD 250 moving head... I have them on my DJ Rig and I am extremely happy with them ... There is a video here on YouTube ... just search for "Merlin C40"

  • i just ordered one! yea! im getting the second for christmas.

  • was that the adj x-move led next to it on the left on the table? are the x-move and the q-spot 150 the same for brightness?

  • The Q-Spot 150 and X-Move LED both have a 20W LED inside them. However (and kudos to Chauvet on this), the Q-Spot 150 has a 3-facet prism and rotating interchangeable gobos - something that was definitely missing on the previous LED moving heads.

  • Also the Q-Spot 150 has a 2 degree wider beam angle.

  • Yea, thats what I missed on all the other LED Movings. The Prism and the rotating gobos. Take the American Dj X-Move LED for example.

  • during the gobo shake sequence, I keep picturing somebody shaking the camera to get the effect...lol
