  • @NLoveMakeUp07 It would have to be a high percent alcohol level. Like vodkia

  • She kinda looks like Kris Jenner here

  • Thank you so much. <3

  • can you use just alcohol? like the one my dad drinks?please answer!

  • what if a square eyeshadow breaks cuz Kandee that's why I clicked on this video!!

  • How would I go about fixing my MAC powder? Since it's in a much bigger comapct, I can't just use a quarter... can I?

  • @1990cupcakes surgical spirit is the same as rubbing alcohol

  • Is TCP the same as rubbing alcohol? (im in the uk) im assuming normal 'drinking alcohol' wouldnt work haha

  • i want that zebra print plate! xoxo

  • @thedaniellegray target!

  • i win :) 71 %

  • This is awesome :)

  • Thank you, Kandee. :)

  • can yu use anything other than rubbing alcohol?

  • @junoneedsbleeker it probly wont work as well, but nail polish remover works quick as well. but it may make ur eyeshadow smell.

  • OMG that helped me so much thanks xx

  • Watching it again :D

  • Does any know if Kandee has a DIY Palette? I have seen the Youtube vids using a CD Case and DVD Case, but considering that Kandee makes so many neat things, I thought she might have a homemade palette vid.

  • just fixed my eyeshadow! thank you so much!

  • OMG Thank you sooo much for this video! I recently bought a gorgeous palette with 120 colors and they ALL cracked when it fell. I was so sad until I saw this video! I fixed all of them! It was definitely a little time consuming but I would rather spend time then more money. Once the alcohol evaporates the colors are as good as new! I picked my least favorite color to practice on but to be honest you don't even need practice. It's a really easy and fool proof process. THANK YOU!!!

  • wtf she dont wana tuch the quarter cuz its dirty physco bihh

  • @anandagaraguso I don't think she wants to handle it when she's also handling make up for eyes. Hence the fabric wrapped around the quarter - you just don't know where it's been!

  • Thank you!!!!

  • Can you please make a video on how to make Rihanna's denim, distressed, cheeky, cut off, Daisy Duke hot pants( shorts)

  • Thanks Candy, this video is very helpful for me!

  • awesome!

  • thank you so much for this. I just fixed one of my favs and it was soooo easy! Thank you!

  • wow you are great

  • Another tip to make the shadow look pretty is to have lace or fishnet over the t-shirt to give it a pattern.

  • My english is not very good, what is the bottle she is using ?? :/

  • @JtaimeFroy The bottle at 2:40? That's just a regular bottle that I believe she put the rubbing alcohol in so she could drop it into the eyeshadows easier :)

  • I dont see why it wouldnt work with blush :) doesnt hurt to try it.. Thanks for the easy steps kandee! :)

  • can you do this with blushes?

  • thanks so much. <3

  • Thank you thank you thank youuu!!!! This really works, and saved me so much money as I usually just throw the broken eyeshadows, blush and powders away. Now I know how to save them! :) yay.

  • Glue? What....?

  • @PopularParis she means the alcohol cause that is the "glue

    "

  • did she say GLUE? i thought its alcohol....

  • @SexXxyLeB She meant alcohol :)

  • @SexXxyLeB it's "glue" as if in quotation marks b/c that's the function of the alcohol, not what it actually is.

  • Does ths work with blusher?

  • 35th

  • i guess you could also use this to make new eyeshadows...

  • Could I use hydrogen peroxide or water instead of alcohol? Someone p[lease reply

  • how do you do this when theyre still in the pan?

  • I tried something a bit different. First, I took an xACTO knife and made the e/s into a fine powder. Then i took a tiny bit of alcohol, and i let it sit on the surface and soak on for 5 mins. Then i took a t-shirt and quarter and stamped it, and it came out great!

Afterwards (I wanted to depot it for BAck to MAC) i took apart the casing, and didn't ruin anything! It was weird but it all worked out.

  • Wich glue do you use?

  • I droped my smashbox blush, and i will try your method thank

  • can i use hydrogen peroxide?

  • What a great tip!!

  • This worked perfectly! Kandee is so helpful.

  • Is it just any kind of glue?

  • Is it

  • Thank you so much for this Kandee. I had 6 eyeshadows/blushers that had smashed that I kept in case I found a way to repress them, and this worked perfectly.

  • i dont have rubbing alcohol, is there anything else i could use?

  • I wish i looked how to save broken eyeshadows a long time ago!! But at least I'm saving 2 now !! thank you soo much Kandee :))))))!

  • @ laluv2shop: no the glue is the rubbing alcohol

  • I heard her say "glue" was in the dropper?? Is that right?

  • @laluv2shop It's the rubbing alcohol. But she said glue because it's acting as a glue to keep the shadow together.

  • I did it with a mineralize skinfinish, the one that comes with many swirled color, it worked :)

  • Very helpful! But question: what about ones that are like, duo-shadows? D:

  • That was really helpful :) thanks!

  • what was the stuff in the little squeeze container?

  • DOes this work for like powder foundation and blushes and those things?

  • @BeYouNotHer I just tried it on a blush after watching this: yes.

  • AWESOME!!! THANKS!!!!

  • what can u use instead of rubbing alchohol?

  • why alcohol when you're going to put this shadow on your eyes. i don't mind waiting...

  • @YoBootyStinks it not only evaporates faster, it completely evaporates... you're not putting alcohol on your eyes later because its GONE...

  • We dont have rubbing alcohol in Finland, so can i use 37% alcohol?

  • can i just use water?

  • @bellaandpualove671 Rubbing alcohol is extremely volatile which is why it works. Water doesn't evaporate as fast, so you will be waiting much longer!
