i dont like to discuss religion but i want to tell u this.
I like to belive there is a God mainly because when i lay there in a bed at a hospital and know that i'm about to die then the though of dying and i will never exist anymore and all i know will be black and and endless emtiness, that thought scares me allot!

@gallant5k No, the Bible doesn't say you only need to believe Jesus is Lord to gain Heaven. It clearly says in many verses that you must believe AND OBEY His Word to gain Heaven. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Saying evil does not exist isn't correct. Now to say that it's the absence of God in various situations..that's something else, but even then there are situations where the presence of God is there but the evil is still trying to break through and corrupt things.

God created the Ebola virus, right? How about tectonic plates which cause earthquakes? In fact, God created all natural disasters and diseases. How can you call him good? God approved of slavery, genocide, human sacrifice, rape, animal sacrifice, theft. Do you call that good? Satan made 2 very serious accusations against GOD in his 1st LIE. 1) God is a liar; Eve would not die as God had warned. 2) Eve would be better off if she made her own decisions: be like God knowing good and bad. Satan urged her to reject Gods sovereignty over her life. God could have destroyed ALL those rebels at once, but the accusation would have remained.
Time was required to settle the issue. Time has proved that Eve did die and rejection of Gods rule has resulted in more evil.

First of all, I am a born again Christian. And thinking of evil this way is not good since any educated atheist can destroy a point like this using the Bible as a proof. God clearly says that : "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. " Isaiah 45:7 . Truth is God indirectly has appointed (predestined) evil to exist. But God uses secondary means (humans,fallen angels, devil) to bring it about, WITH A GOOD PURPOSE, His own glory.

I like to belive there is a God mainly because when i lay there in a bed at a hospital and know that i'm about to die then the though of dying and i will never exist anymore and all i know will be black and and endless emtiness, that thought scares me allot!
So that is the main reason why i like to belive there is a God so when i am in that situation i can just think about how wonderfull it will be to go to heavan.

@gallant5k No, the Bible doesn't say you only need to believe Jesus is Lord to gain Heaven. It clearly says in many verses that you must believe AND OBEY His Word to gain Heaven. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Saying evil does not exist isn't correct. Now to say that it's the absence of God in various situations..that's something else, but even then there are situations where the presence of God is there but the evil is still trying to break through and corrupt things.

Einstein may be smart compared to the majority of humans, but he's only a man and therefore subject to the shortcomings of man, which includes man's spiritual ignorance.
Nothing happens outside of God's creation, including evil.

It doesn't matter if Einstein was intelligent or not. Truth wins out, and scientific fact is just thta, scientific fact. His analogy was well put and Scriptures back up what he said. If you want to act as if God is evil it is only because you love the darkness above the Light as Jesus predicted some would in these last days. I will pray for you. I'm more moral than God because if I created something that was being destructive to my creation I would get rid of it. In fact, I would never have created it. Satan made 2 very serious accusations against GOD in his 1st LIE. 1) God is a liar; Eve would not die as God had warned. 2) Eve would be better off if she made her own decisions: be like God knowing good and bad. Satan urged her to reject Gods sovereignty over her life. God could have destroyed ALL those rebels at once, but the accusation would have remained.
Time was required to settle the issue. Time has proved that Eve did die and rejection of Gods rule has resulted in more evil.

I agree. God is good, God is Love, God is Light. Anything that is not these things is absent from these things. When God created man in His image, man was to be representations of God on Earth. Therefore, Angles are to worship man because we are in His image. Satan refused and by his free will became absent from the presence of God.
