  • Amazing! Mine can too!

  • yes...

  • that's really awesome! Yes I accept your challenge

  • THAT IS AMAZING X

  • Challange accepted. ;) jk I wish i had that many rails. But I have only tried 6 in a row.

  • all those people moaning about what shes doing, SHUT UP ! Its not you so stop moaning, i think its amazing i think my horse would give up over 8 poles, let alone 20 ! Keep your opinion and critis to yourself she doesnt ask for them so dont express them, inless there nice that is. This looks fun, how long did it take you to put all those poles away?

  • @Horsesyou2me it took me awhile to put them all away, I ended up trying to carry 2 or 3 at a time, 3 never worked though. AJ helped by following me around :)

  • @eughorse2 thx:)

  • how far apart are you supposed to put them?

  • @horsezROCK4life About a stride away thats like 3ft or take a big step, you have to adjust the poles according to your horse :)

  • Any ride-able horse use to ground poles can accomplish this with practice, it isn't like your horse didn't even nick the poles.

  • @amber233ify He didn't nick any poles, except one at the end, due to the fact I didn't keep equal spacing on the last one. my fault not his.

  • If the girl was really causing any pain or annoyance to the horses back I'm sure he would soon let her know!

  • thats cute!!

  • my horse otis can go over tht many!

  • Argh, get off of it's back! How is the horse going to lift his back if youre bouncing around on it?! . Its all well and good showing off that your HORSE can trot over 20 poles, but it'd be better to show that YOU as a RIDER know what you are doing!

  • @BionicLeah Just lay off!! it was her choice to take her horse over those poles not yours, if her horse was in any pain it would've shown it!

  • @eughorse2

Posting a video on youtube is leaving yourself open for people to pass opinions. Dont like it, dont post.

  • @BionicLeah Well I wouldn't like if someone was judging me, how would you feel??

  • i cant even go over 20 poles like that, and i have 2 legs! your horse is amazing for being able to do 20 in a row with 4!

  • Comment removed

  • hey and i don't have my own horse but the horse i do ride can probably do it

  • my horse can do that now we are trying 25

  • @Cricket102010 STFU is all I'm saying I don't wanna hear any BS

  • WELL ure horse either loves poles ans stuff ar u are really good at forcing lol jks well done :) stop with the bad comments

  • what a great horse, looks like you're having good fun with her!

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!........... NOT!!!!!

  • @ioana20011 i know i mean it must have been so tyrin for the horse but he did it anyways because he loves his owner

  • well... i have seen somebody else`s horse that can ride over 21 poles... BEAT YA!!!!!

U R NOT SO PROUD NOW, ARE YA???

  • Honestly, people! Just stop the arguing about posting or jump position! I bet you a million dollars this girl didn't want all these silly stupid comments! She obviously just was having fun with her horse and put up this video SIMPLY for entertainment purposes! No need to get all touchy about her riding or how saddles restrict horses!!!

  • i'm not about to dis anything...buuuuut....20 poles...yea my horse can do them she's a dressage horse, yea my others can do them, they're jumpers...and yea actually my quarter pony can do them she's a barrel racer/trail horse...nbd honestly

  • CONGRATS you the first person to do 20 trooting poles in a row ............ NOT

  • Guys you don't necessarily have to go 2-point over poles, i don't my instructor only tells me to when we're doing XC.

    Thats so impressive!<3<3

  • Cool!

  • Cool though! My horse just did about five then couldnt place his hooves and moved to the side

  • Yeah.. Try a little two point or soft posting

  • you do realize youre supposed to go into two point or post over poles?

  • @karolinarab if i wasn't bareback at the time I would have. Now days I could, but now days I don't have 20 poles to go over anymore

  • @karolinarab youre not meant to go two point just over trotting poles?

  • @karolinarab you don't have to at all, it doesn't matter.

  • @karolinarab no you're not...it doesn't matter.

  • @karolinarab it's the rider's choice. you can sit, post, or do two point.

  • @karolinarab No you're not !

  • Well everyone seems to be saying their horses can do that, but I'm sure mine can :L then again I don't have 20 poles! haha very impressive though! :) x

  • hahaha my record is 6 or 7 ;)

  • yes quite easily

  • my pony can when hes not bucking me off...

  • Yes he can. He does it when they are in the air also.

  • yes mine can :D That's cool!

  • Ground poles are used to make your horse lift his back, if you're riding your horse bareback over poles you're restricting your horse's muscles.

  • @Cricket102010 Technically, if the horse isn't framed up, he's just having to lift his legs up a bit more. The real question would be can your horse do twenty ground poles while in a frame?

  • @Cricket102010 they are allso uesd for beginner jumpers to help with the 2 point

  • @Cricket102010 No, a saddle restricts your horse. Get it right. you think a horse is restricted when it run around the the field without it's tack on? Don't be stupid.

  • @rupertbunyip Yes a saddle does slightly restrict your horses back muscles, horses were not designed to carry someone on their back. I'm not to sure where your going with the running around the field, i didn't say anything about that. I simply said that if you're going to trot over ground poles you probably want to have a saddle on to get off of your horses back instead of bouncing around on their back.

  • @rupertbunyip And don't you be stupid. We didn't develop the saddle into the way it is now, highly advanced and expensive, to ruin our horse's backs and movement. Just like there's a reason for a treed saddle, in keeping weight off of the spine. In the field, running around without tack on, it doesn't normally have a person on it asking it to do things, in general

  • @claoufaeng Yeah, we developed saddles because we are lazy and didn't want to get our lovely western clothes dirty. A poor rider in a saddle pulls on their horses back by unevenly distributing their weight. A poor rider without a saddle, ends up where they should be. On the floor.

  • @Cricket102010 they made it over didnt they

  • @horselover3901 this has nothing about "making it over", it's about how you do it.

  • @Cricket102010 The rider has very soft to no contact with him and therefore the horse is going long and low. The most that is asked with those trotting poles, in that outline is that the horse uses slightly more hock and knee action. Therefore sitting to the trot is not going to make any restrictions as the muscles forward of the croup aren't engaged. Proof = the slight dip after the croup.

I would think the horse says it all though. It looks like he's very happy to do it without any persuasion.

  • @Cricket102010 I dont think riding bareback restricts a horse's back muscles, so long as your ni balance which the rider seems to be...

  • @omgu8mynewt well then you should take a lesson and talk to a trainer.

  • Comment removed

  • @Cricket102010 true story. xD I have to do that a lot with my horse cause theres something wrong with his back.

  • l love your horse and yes my horse can :D

  • Yeess o.o

  • I thought everyone could do that... haha. Your horse is adorable, though!

  • yes, but sometimes gets bored when going over so many poles and starts cantering! You have a lovely horse :) x

  • I would hate to have to put all those poles back...

  • yes but we dont hav 20

  • we dont even have 10 poles

  • @selenaxxxsaphire same we hav i think 7 and my granda made 1 i think

  • i thought it was goin to jump over all of them

  • Mine can :_

  • lmao my barn doesnt even own 20 trotting poles..

  • iMPRESSIVE :) My horse can't even go over one pole. She's never been trained for it and she constantly trips over them... which is why I'm using lightweight PVC piping for poles so she doesn't hurt herself lol

  • @CherubHorse she won't hurt herself on wood poles, but if she steps on a pvc pole it will break, and that can be dangerous. I'm no professional, but I would suggest going back to wooden poles. After my pony hit those with her feet a couple of times, she started picking up her feet:)

  • @xTakingFlightx Thank you!!! I was wondering if my horse would be able to break a pipe... I'll definitely go to wood poles. But I actually have no wood poles here at the barn! And I kinda went broke going insane buying an expensive bridle for my girl... Is there any way I could possibly just use a straight tree branch? Thanks!!

  • @CherubHorse yeah, I use tree branches all the time. poles are actually fairly cheap at the hardware store, about $8 each, and you just get the fencing ones:)

  • Thats so cool! And he sets his own poles:) I was impressed (dont' worry about any sayers-horse people are the worst)

  • This is a very good exercise to engage their hindquarters, i think ill ask my coach if we can do this :p lol

  • Lol he's so cute XD

  • MUST HAVE TAKEN A WHILE TO GET ALL THE STRIDINGS RIGHT FOR EACH POLE LOL

  • Yup! My horse can do that too! Haha(:

  • Close your legs and engage your seat and everything will go smoother.

  • thats not hard,,,,

  • I hate it when my boobs jump around too :/

  • no

  • we dont even have 20 poles!! x

  • its not really that impressive even a 5 year old could do it

  • Yes my horse can, its not exactly difficult ?

  • you are balancing alot in his back and that's not good:/ sit and feel your horse feeel feeeeeeeel

  • My horse can trot the first 5, get bored, stop, try to wander off, and then trot the rest xD

  • I got to twelve then ran out of poles :\ You have a very sure-footed horses though.

  • yes, yes my horse can do 20 trot poles in a row! question is....can they do 20 2 ft bounces? MINE CAN!!

  • @horseLove322 Will u make a video of you and your horse dooing 20 2ft bounces in a row?

  • @BoomerMyBaby mhm sure, when i get a new camera, but if you havent noticed i dont have a lot of videos because my camera broke.......... sorry? oh and why would you like to see it? :/ stalkerish or interested which one........

  • this is so cool! i hate how people are being rude like ''my horse can do that and more and blah blah blah'' what a bunch of brats T.T

  • not to be mean but that is super easy to do lets see you run and weave around 6 poles in 20 flat!

western is so much more fun unless u play polo like i do

  • Your horse is real cute :) and that equestrian center looks gorgeous.

  • Cool, but not to be rude or anything, but you bumped quite high when he went over those poles, you should work on that, after a lot of practice it won't be that much bumping, ;))

  • my horse can do the double eaven my poney can do the 20 poles!!!

  • i'm gonna try this with my horse! He needs confidence! :)

  • my horse would slow to a walk after the tenth.

  • cool! I was curious and wanted to see what 30 poles was like. I set them up. It was EPIC! He hit the pole 3 times though :( lol

  • my horse can do that, but he'd be pretty angry that there wasn't a jump. lol

  • my horse would do two, spook, trip and dodge the rest.. he's a bit special!! :Px

  • probably,my pony has done troting poles before but only about 5!LOL will try this in the summer wen we go back to riding in the fields cuz our school isnt big enough.cool horse my instroctor has a horse like that called bernie

  • um, my horse can't go over 3 trotting poles, :/

  • yes, my horse can go over 20 trot poles!!♥

  • My horse can!:-D

  • Hes so cute can i have him!!! <3

  • ha! mine can do 25 ! hahaaha jk , cute horse , name/breed/hight?age? and where hes his splint boots and ear fly mask from \! love it ,/ him , / and his color soo much !

  • mine can do 25!!!!!<3

  • omg catastrophe.

  • yeh, but can the horse properly go over them, raising its legs, my boy can.

  • i don't really get it.. am i supposed to be amazed and stunned? everyone with a horse can do this.

  • What's so amazing about there being 20? XD

  • that sucks to hvae to put them out, and space them!

  • i want to do 20 in a row lol x

  • all letsflyoncemore is trying to get at. is that flatwork ( dressage ) needs to be properly established before jumping, as the dressage schooling insures they have correct rythym, impulsion, as well as their head in the correct position. showhunter is what we call dressage with jumps all though we dont do all the moves but the horse needs to do flying changes and a nice consistant rythym. show jumping is abit different where its speed...

  • Your horse does trotting poles really nicely!

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore WHOA WHOA WHOA DRESSAGE AND JUMPING ARE NOT THE SAME! In dressage, do you do any jumping? And in jumping, are you riding straight patterns? NO, YOU'RE JUMPING THEM! That's like saying that dark chocolate and Milk chocolate is the same!

  • @iRideArabs umm excuse me ?!?!?! i do dressage and its not all staight lines ! thes turns circles halts spins spirals leg yields pirorettes extends aand lots more

  • @MadisonLeeBieber Yes I know. But I'm not probably not as expeireienced as you are, but I understand that there are all those other things too, my point is that dressage and jumping are different. Please watch my video of me and my horse!

  • yeah my horse can infact ;) and I'd like to see u do tht in bouncing!

-my pony can do it ;) hehe

  • your horse can do trotting poles, but you cant. you ride over poles like a sack of shit.

  • @NaturalHorseman2011 i think she's bareback... but still:) i laughed so hard when i read your comment cuz its true! but yea thats just harsh...

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore I am not going to keep on going back and forth about this Im really sick of it

  • he looks like he has a lovely temperment :-)

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore what do you mean why did you say that?

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore Nope ur still wrong to me and my friends!

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore Whatever!!!! I cant stand this anymore!

  • my horse would crash haha :)

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore i know i have been riding for 7 years and i know what trotting poles are

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore You know Im not going to keep on fighting anymore Im going to be the bigger person. So you think what you think and Ill think what I think and thats that!

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore A horse cant do a Piaffe over a jump

  • How far apart are the poles?

  • no i can do 100 canter 1s ina row but my pony gallops them xx

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore Its not the same!

  • I'm extremely new to english, what are trotting poles used for? ^-^

  • @horsefreak0 depends, I was using them to strengthen my horses back. It's also good for having a horse learn where his/her feet are. and more

  • @BubblyGumm poles are used for western riding,( i do western) they are used for something called trail, where horses go over a series of poles and go through gates (etc.)

  • @horsefreak0 you can also use them to help teach your horse how to jump :)

  • @MadisonLeeBieber Okay thanks!! how would you go about that? Do you place them a certain length from the jump or what? :)

  • @horsefreak0 to strengthen the horse's back, to get the horse to pick up his feet so you get his joints warmed up, to help the rider learn to keep their seat when used without stirrups, they can be used to teach a beginning jumper how to approach a jump, to help the horse and rider keep pace between jumps, and single poles can be placed in front of a jump to help the horse and rider see a distance. It all depends, cause you can do so much with them.

  • @DragonHeart956 Oh okay, that helps alot! :) Thanks!!!

  • @horsefreak0 distancing and pacing, lovely horse btw!!

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore Im just saying Jumping is jumping and Dressage is Dressage they are both different in there own way.

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore yes I know that,,,

  • fantastic!!!.... the horse i ride would get so confused. se tries to jump single poles. I'd love to see how he'd handle 20!

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore Its not at all when you get to high levels

  • my horse jumps them, i set up 4 and she jumped them all one at a time

  • Comment removed

  • my friends horse cud, but it would go along the lines of "Clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk"

  • My horse can...and then he falls over. :D

  • i can

  • my horse can

  • try posting at the trot so your not bouncing on his bacl

  • My horse can´t do it, he is afraid of poles :P I´m working with him and up to now he can do 4 when I stand beside him and hold his hand ;)

  • a horse at my barn has done 35

  • yes... yes my horse can

  • can he jump them LOL!

  • Very good. i use 20 then a jump then 30 and a jump then 20 and a jump to teach them striding. the amount of poles we have we now have shares in the milling company down the road.lol

  • very nice, i haven't tried 20 trot poles but i sure can do a seven 3'6ft fences in a gym

  • my horse can canter trot poles does that count?

  • i only have like 7 poles at my barn haha

  • great...you should work on straightening him though...his haunches drift to the left

  • Uh yessss....... and btw, you supposed to post/ 2point/ half seat when your doing trotting/canter poles, so your horse can move better.

  • @ilovesmidgee

    She's also bareback...
