I have a 97 accord, and it makes a sound very similar to yours when its cold. The problems is that due to the engine having too much aluminum it constricts when cold causing knocking sound.

The engine noise was worse when the car was warmed up. I sold the car for $6250 LOL I bought the car for $3900

Bit hard to tell from this but older Accords are a bit rattly from cold. Both mine are. Try checking the valve clearances but if it goes away when it's warm I wouldn't worry about it.

nah its petrol. Its running on 91 octane at the moment. Gonna chuck in 95 octane and see if it makes an improvement

Its a diesel right? Sounds normal to me. Diesels run rough on a cold start, they smooth out a bit when warm.
