think about it if you look at it what is an extra few minutes going to get yea after you leave church either stuck in a parking lot or at a red light.If people pack church every sunday like they do on these 2 holidays we would not be closing churchs left in right like they are here in the Boston area.They way i look at it either come to church or stay home and do not call your self cathloic when you only go twice a year
as a very strong cathloic this is the christmas season were i get very angry about people that they call them self Cathoic were they only come 2 twice a year for Masses for Easter and the Christmas mass.I can understand that our church had problems with the whole sex scandel and i know a lot of people are still upset at all of this.My problem is they pack churchs for both holidays and they leave right after the Communion why even bother come to church at all it drives me crazy

They believe the bread and wine change into God Himself like God appeared as a burning bush or a column of fire or a column of smoke or as a dove or as a cloud. If the bread does not change, then yes it is idoltry. If it does then like God appeared in the Bible then they worship God and you are teaching falsely. Do you believe God appeard as tongues of flames in the Bible without becoming fire?
There is no need to pay any attention to those who do not accept the Catholic church. And there is no need to pay any attention to those who bash and judge the Catholic church. @MsChrisdom Don't go lumping the bad ones in with the good ones. People are people, and they can be either very good, or very wicked. Saying that the entire Church is at fault is biased and unfair. You're going with what the media says; not what actually happens. There have been many numerous cases of laicization. Excommunication is not necessary provided they are repentant. However laicization is if the particular priest has indeed done what he's accused of.

I pray for the unity of the traditional churches of the Great Schism, the Orthodox do not want to change and accept that their ancestors made a mistake in the past, but at least they believe in many of the Catholic teachings and that is why they are still considered members of the Catholic Church.
I can't wait to see our traditional churches come back together and to see many of the members of the 33,000+ denominations coming back to the Catholic Church.

A med student—a priest, pastor, a rabbi, a doctor, a lay person: they are those who are members of an institution…a school.
A school--- a church: They will teach to members the laws and policies, the creeds ( the commandants, the creeds, the doctrines of a church) of how to do their work, how to teach, how to behave. They will also teach you all necessary things to be successful (to go to heaven).
So if a church teaches that it is wrong to kill and the pastor or the priest is well aware of that commandant, and still decide to kill someone, does it make the school a liar, insinuating that because the pastor killed someone the school lied about it’s policies not to kill . That would be ludicrous to think so.

Salvation has always been by means of faith. Genesis 15:6 says "Abram believed the LORD, and he [the Lord] credited it to him [Abram] as righteousness." Romans chapter 4 in the New Testament elaborates on this and points out that Abram's faith was credited to him as righteousness before he was circumcised. Neither he nor anyone after him "earned" salvation by doing something "Jewish."
Before God called the Jews to be a special people, He worked through all the people on the earth...

What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us when we pray to Him?
He promised that when the Israelites obeyed His commandments, He would bless them as a nation, but when they disobeyed He would punish them in successive degrees... The point of all this was that because Israel would be so richly blessed, all the other nations would be amazed and would come and visit to hear about their God. Through Israel all nations would come to know God.
From the time of Abraham to the time of Christ (the promised Jewish Messiah), God chose to work exclusively through the Jewish people... meaning that He sent them prophets, He gave them a special law code (the Mosaic Law - included civil, criminal, and ceremonial law), He dwelt in the tabernacle and later in the temple so that the people could have access to Him through the priesthood, He selected a king for them when they asked for one, etc etc etc.
Before God called the Jews to be a special people, He worked through all the people on the earth... but eventually it came to pass that everyone was rebellious and wicked, with the exception of one man (Noah) and his family. So God brought the flood to destroy everyone but Noah's family who were safe on the Ark. However, a few generations later and people were being just as rebellious...
The Catholic (Universal) Christian Church has taught nothing that is against Sacred Scripture.

They believe the bread and wine change into God Himself like God appeared as a burning bush or a column of fire or a column of smoke or as a dove or as a cloud. If the bread does not change, then yes it is idoltry. If it does then like God appeared in the Bible then they worship God and you are teaching falsely. Do you believe God appeard as tongues of flames in the Bible without becoming fire?

@MsChrisdom Don't go lumping the bad ones in with the good ones. People are people, and they can be either very good, or very wicked. Saying that the entire Church is at fault is biased and unfair. You're going with what the media says; not what actually happens. There have been many numerous cases of laicization. Excommunication is not necessary provided they are repentant. However laicization is if the particular priest has indeed done what he's accused of.

these proties probably think the bible came out of nowhere, with the words of Jesus in King James English written in red. I an a Catholic, and rest assured, the bible was given to you by the church. Any first grade history teacher knows that (unless they're teaching at a private school that happens not to be Catholic)

I noticed you are using the King James Version, maybe you are doing that for them, but make sure you already read the NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE (NAB) version.
Type "NAB BIBLE" into the GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE, you will find the site at the very top, it will give you the entire Bible with footnotes, introductions and everything <3

We don't idolize the pope, and a year ago, I saw another stupid man say the same thing. But you know what I did? I did some research, and now, one year later, I find myself attracted to the Priesthood. Serving God is what I want to do now, I had plans to write scripts for amazing movies, become VERY famous and be admired by many people, but I humbled myself and became a servant of God.

Yah, people don't understand that Jesus Christ taught us to LOVE one another, it is God's greatest commandment to us.
Also, our salvation is justified by FAITH and WORKS, not FAITH ALONE like almost all of the non-Catholic Christians.
So the non-Catholic Christians make us look bad when they say, BE BORN AGAIN! YOU WILL BE SAVED FOREVER!
That is not what the Catholic Church teaches and rightly so. The Bible contradicts FAITH ALONE.

So un- Christ like. So non- Christian. Christianity in based on Lord Jesus' teachings. Lord Jesus demanded words and obedience towards his teachings. When he saved that adulterous He said "Go and sin no more". He did not say simply "Go" or "Go and do whatever you like".

I pray for the unity of the traditional churches of the Great Schism, the Orthodox do not want to change and accept that their ancestors made a mistake in the past, but at least they believe in many of the Catholic teachings and that is why they are still considered members of the Catholic Church.
I can't wait to see our traditional churches come back together and to see many of the members of the 33,000+ denominations coming back to the Catholic Church.

A med student—a priest, pastor, a rabbi, a doctor, a lay person: they are those who are members of an institution…a school.
A school--- a church: They will teach to members the laws and policies, the creeds ( the commandants, the creeds, the doctrines of a church) of how to do their work, how to teach, how to behave. They will also teach you all necessary things to be successful (to go to heaven).

So if a church teaches that it is wrong to kill and the pastor or the priest is well aware of that commandant, and still decide to kill someone, does it make the school a liar, insinuating that because the pastor killed someone the school lied about it’s policies not to kill . That would be ludicrous to think so.

Salvation has always been by means of faith. Genesis 15:6 says "Abram believed the LORD, and he [the Lord] credited it to him [Abram] as righteousness." Romans chapter 4 in the New Testament elaborates on this and points out that Abram's faith was credited to him as righteousness before he was circumcised. Neither he nor anyone after him "earned" salvation by doing something "Jewish."
Before God called the Jews to be a special people, He worked through all the people on the earth...

The point of all this was that because Israel would be so richly blessed, all the other nations would be amazed and would come and visit to hear about their God. From the time of Abraham to the time of Christ (the promised Jewish Messiah), God chose to work exclusively through the Jewish people... meaning that He sent them prophets, He gave them a special law code (the Mosaic Law - included civil, criminal, and ceremonial law), He dwelt in the tabernacle and later in the temple so that the people could have access to Him through the priesthood, He selected a king for them when they asked for one, etc etc etc.

So God brought the flood to destroy everyone but Noah's family who were safe on the Ark. However, a few generations later and people were being just as rebellious...

Like I said, and everyone including the church, priests, my theology teacher,the fathers of the church, the apostles, the gospels, many apostolic letters, encyclicals the canon laws even some protestant friends and most of the 33 000 different Christian denominations seem to think that Jesus died by some people killing him. That is not true, the Catholic Church is the FIRST AND LAST TRUE CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD.
God said that He would build His Church and that the gates of Hades would not prevail against Her. The Bible also states that MANY FALSE PROPHETS WILL COME TO US IN SHEEPS CLOTHING BUT INWARDLY ARE WOLVES!
I have done my research and I am not stupid. The Catholic (Universal) Christian Church is the one established by Jesus Christ and any denomination that left her needs to come back home.

First of all; the present pope B16 insists on the H. Communion to be received kneeled and on the tongue, therefore the scene at 0.41 is misleading.
Of you wanna see a more traditional side of the church look at my account (FSSP is in full communion with the pope and the local bishops). BTW Church attendance in the Netherlands dropped by 96% since 1965... A succesfull renewal or a destruction? Same is true about the former catholic Belgium people, and same is happening now in Germany/Austria!

The church(the school) can be true to the word and yet some pastors(the med students) are bandits and liars. It has no barring of the teaching and the magisterium of the church. None what so ever. The schism will end when the final 15 Eastern churches return to full communion with the Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ. So far, 22 of the Eastern Churches have returned to the One, True, Catholic church and we hope that the remaining 15 will return soon.
During the entire 2,000 year history of the Catholic Church we have welcomed unity in diversity and we will continue to do so until everyone has returned home.
