@AspergianSaint Trinitarians want to believe that if the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are mentioned together, this means we are talking about a three in one God in unity of being. 1+1+1 does not equal 1 it equals 3. Jesus never said God, Myself and the Holy spririt are one. He said that he and his father were one. Only in theology can you add 3 and the sum is 1 ...ridiculous nonsense.

Your videos are interesting. I have hated christianity for so long and still do. I don't believe in Christianity or christians, but I do believe in the simple man Christ Jesus. I do not buy into the trinity as well. It doesn't make sense. I also do not buy into the "Lucifer" story. "Lucifer" was added to the bible.
@FoxFlips I hope christians stop hating, for many of them are bogotted morons. Always telling none believers they're going to hell. You can debate which christian has the correct idea of christianity, but it never gets anywhere. Christians honor Christ with their lips but their hearts are far from him. There's no actions coming from christians, only WORDS! Causing nasty debates on You-Tube as an example.
Listening to more of what you're saying, I agree 100% with the content of what you're saying and like what you have to say... it's just semantics for me. I'm a trinitarian universalist, but I don't hold to the version of the trinity that you're talking about.
I think perhaps you might be getting confused by extreme monotheism? "God" is not a name but a title or a label for a certain type of being. This can be seen by the fact that pagans used to worship "gods."
Sounds like you hold to the trinity but maybe misunderstand what most (or at least a great deal of) people mean by it. The trinity means one in being, not one in identity or person. Make sense?
@heartrocketblast the problem with this is there is no scriptural evidence to support this. Its just more of what all the other naysayers on this comments page are saying. A whole lot of nonsense to try and explain it and not one of them use a single passage to support it.
"The trinity isn't this but that"
"The trinity is like this"
"The trinity isn't like such and such but more like ____"
Its all talking out of your butt (pardon the expression) if you don't use scripture
@FoxFlips Sure, sure. Youtube really isn't the format to discuss issues like this, but I'll throw you a quick bite: the Jews believed that God was a dual being, with both an invisible and a visible aspect, two different persons. For more information, google "Michael Heiser binitarianism."
The mixing of truth with error, the recipe of devils.
This guy is a false teacher. Yes, Jesus is God in the flesh however, ultimate salvation for the sinner, fallen angels, the beast, hitler and satan is a lie.
The Second Death is the lake of fire in which all who are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be cast into. There is no reconciliation from that point on. Nor are there any scriptures, NOT ONE, that proves redemption after the second death.
In 1 Timothy 3:16, Paul wrote, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh....” The word “flesh” means humanity, or specifically a human being. In the encounter with Moses, God was manifested in the flame, but when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, God was manifested in a human being. The same God, only a different manifestation. (Hebrews 1:1-2). One of the purposes of the Son was so God could speak to us.
There is really 2 that are One and that is Christ and the Father. The Holy Spirit is, if you will the kinetic working power of God the Father and God the Son.
The ONLY way you would be saying that God wasn't God because He died, is if the story ended at Christ's crucifixion. But as we know, He arose the third day and was taken up some 40 days later. You aren't doing a disservice to God, or an irreverence by equating God the Father and God the Son as One for they are.
And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Luke 3:22
Here we have God the Father revealing that Christ was His Son, not on earth, but in Heaven, and so we have two parts established there. The third part is in the Holy Spirit which came down in the form of a dove. He also alluded to the Holy Spirit when He told the disciples "If I do not go, the Comforter will not come".
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father." John 10:17-18.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," Mt 28:19
Jeezz Zen, doubt you'll lose your place for this, but you can't be more wrong. And you wallow in your error. You rejoice in it even. Phillipians 2:6-11 is one clue to His true identity. And I'd also point out John 2:19 where in Jesus did not say "Tear down this Temple and in three days God will lift me up". But rather He said "Tear down this Temple and in three days I (leading one to believe He Himself) will rebuild this temple."
What we call Trinity is not three God's but three persons as One. We are spirit, soul and body, each with a will and role. Man's soulical will to be like God rebelled and caused the demise of the human spirit and the soul struggles with carnality of the outer man. Only by being born of the Spirit and empowered in our spirit for our soul to hear from to overcome the old nature. We are three as one when we walk by faith, not by sight. God created us in His image and likeness; three as one.
Our God is Spirit and cannot be killed. He took on flesh to become one of us as the last Adam to die for all of us. The man Jesus was the image of God so God could reveal His nature through man. Religious fanatics couldn't understand the messiah but those imprisoned by law found grace and hope in this man who revealed the nature of His Father by being obedient to the Spirit within. Jesus had a soul with a will but denied His own will for our sake. He was a man but not of Adam's sinful blood.
Having said that, we know that the deity of Jesus being God and man is a mystery and this requires us to live by faith in spite of what we cannot reason. Like a loving parent who doesn't explain every detail to a child, the Spirit of truth reveals what we must know. However, He makes it plain that Jesus was God dwelling in flesh. John 1:1-5, Phil.2:5-8, Col 1:9, 2:8-9 and 1st John 4:1-6 reveal His deity. His flesh was needed to become one of us to die for all. His humilty is immeasurable.
So God died? Interesting. I would ask you to explain that, but you are not into explanations, or using your mind. I employ my mind to these matters, and you do not, therefore I believe that our dialogue is concluded. It is from my end, anyway.
@zendermeister Jesus was just the flesh, the flesh died but his spirit (being God) always lives. just like us when we die, our spirit cant die, it just passes on. Jesus did actually die, his flesh was lifeless and his spirit left his body, then returned to bring back his flesh. That doesnt make God dead, just the flesh - Jesus
@LukeJ60 Where is the verse that supports this claim? Do you have a verse saying "Jesus spirit left his body and returned" or something close to that. IT says he gave up the ghost but thats it, he gave up his life. Jesus was a man who was dead. He was ressurected into a new body when he was raised. His spirit wasn't floating around anywhere.
@FoxFlips When we die, its just our flesh that dies and out spirit passes on into sheol 'the waiting room' Jesus, the flesh died, but his spirit can never die. He gave up his life, the life force of his body and his flesh died for 3 days. HOWEVER He came back into the same body (not a new one, because he still has the wounds in his hands) he wasnt ressurected into a new body, it was his same body, hence he came back from the dead
@zendermeister You Martin are being foolish. When you die your spirit will still be existent. You will still be conscious. Just like Christ was still existent when He died for our sins. You will stand before God for judgment. You should consider James 3:1 before you ever utter another word.
@KevTCC This sort of talk is disgusting. We will all be judged. The word says "It is appointed for man once to die and then the judgment" Are you a man? then you too will be judged. Even believers will be judged. Jesus died, its says HE DIED over and OVER AGAIN but you don't want to belive it do you? Christians have great common sense except when it comes to Christianity...
@FoxFlips Yes Jesus Christ, God the Creator of the Universe died for the sin of the world. He died and rose to life again. So long as you do not believe that Christ is God you are in your sins and will be judged for them. You may think yourself clever, but you are storing up wrath for yourself.
@KevTCC I don't believe that Jesus Christ is God. I believe he is the Son OF God. What does the word "of" mean? it means to have "come from" God. Jesus Christ is NOT "God the Creator of the Universe" God created Jesus...how you can not understand these things that even a child could understand is incredible. I mean that too, literally, a child can understand these things but you are making up things not even written in scripture my friend. I pray he softens your angry heart.
@KevTCC I know what you believe and it's hate and unloving and as Jesus said "you have no love for God in your heart" What I choose to believe is based on Scripture. What is yours based on sir? Not the same Bible I'm reading. I pray that God takes away your judgmental attitute and condemning nature. I don't wish anything bad on you despite the obvious anger inside of your heart. I pray he would open your heart and mind to his loving nature.
@FoxFlips You can twist it all you like but you know very well that He said He was God, that the Holy Spirit inspired Text says that He is God, that the Apostles said that He is God, and that from the very beginning we see that is the Aleph-Tav (first verse of the Bible He is the Creator) He is the Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the End, That in the Beginning He was God and created everything that is created. That before Abraham was He was the I AM. Blaspheme & heresy are what you sow.
If we look for a scripture that articulates exactly what we are looking for, we will limit our understanding. The Holy Spirit is our teacher through our spirit that speaks to our soul. Our soul's reasoning must submit to what we hear and we are given the gift of discerning of spirits to know our Shepherd from the wolves. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. We don't develop faith by hearing the word directly to our mind but into our spirit to guide our soul. We die to our soul's will.
Jesus was man according to the flesh and God according to Spirit but He humbled Himself for His mission. Philippians 2 explains this clearly for those who have ear (spiritual) and don't try to explain spiritual matters with human wisdom. [Read 1st Corinthians 1:18-31 and chapter 2
] Spirit cannot die as Adam so He prepared a virgin to host a body for Him to dwell in. We are also Soul, Spirit and Body and we are three working as one.
Speaking of human wisdom, RayGray, I have yet to see the verse that Jesus was "God according to the spirit." Jesus Christ HAD a God, which proves that He cannot be the Absolute Deity. It is you who are trying to explain this simple matter, rather than believing it. You are unable to say that JESUS died, but must say that His BODY died. Scripture never says this. It says that HE died. No matter how much you claim otherwise, you do not believe in the death of Christ.
If Jesus is not God then who exactly is He? I would love to see a video that tackes that question and gives a scripturaly sound answer. Some people might be confused when you tell them that Jesus is not God the Father. .I know you are not suggesting that He was just a man but others might make that false assumption about your beliefs. I would love to see a video that goes a bit futher in explaining how Jesus came "out of" or "from" God. Great video. I am looking forward to seeing more.
Hi, Whiskey Fox. No, He was not just a man. But neither did He ever claim to be the Father. In fact, He said that He could do nothing apart from His Father. He gave Himself up to death, confident that His Father would raise Him. That He came "out from God" means that God generated Him (Rev. 3:14). Absolute Deity cannot be generated. Therefore, Jesus Christ is not absolute Deity. It is really this simple. Hope this helps! Blessings.
@adamdanielman you kinda have to worry about dotrines in order to follow Jesus. Especially when Paul says in 1Timothy that there are doctrines of demons.
@zendermeister The word doctrine as used in the bible means teaching of duty, not theory. We are far too anxious to have finished, well-polished,definite "systems", forgetting that the more perfect a theory about the Infinite, the surer it is to be wrong. Do your duty to God and humanity first and foremost and stop worrying about whose right or wrong. Then, and only then will we all become brothers. You won't achieve unity or peace among all by arguing "theories" about God.
Yes, everyone should study for themselves. I WANT people to look into the Scriptures. The more people study, the more they will realize that the Trinity is NOT a Scriptural teaching. Why can't we simply call Jesus Christ what Scripture calls Him? "The Son of God." He is neither fully God (and never claimed to be), nor fully man. He is the perfect go-between between God and man. He is God's Son.
I don't know whether I am of the "elect" or not, but even as a 7yr old struggling to read The New Testament (which they used to hand out for free in public school...if you can believe that!) I never seen the Holy Spirit as a seperate entity...jusy the power and truth that eminated from God. Pretty good insight for a 7yr old eh Martin??lol!
I've loved all your other videos martin, but find this bizarre..You seem to undestand the 'trinity' as a philosophical concept rather than in relational terms. At 6.45 you arrogantly and abitarily assume those who believe in the trinity as part of the "christian religion'' without giving us a say in this. Having said all this i'm not really bothered by this and will not 'exclude' you like i would when i was part of the 'christian religion'...What one believes intellectually is less important.
We are saved by grace, but certainly not apart from teaching. Grace saves THROUGH faith, and we apply our faith to teaching. The death of Christ for sin is a DOCTRINE, in other words, a teaching. If it is grace and has nothing to do with believing a teaching, then why wasn't Saddam Hussein in the body of Christ? Do we not have to believe something? Of course we do. Do not make the mistake of discarding teaching. Otherwise, we have no need for the apostle Paul.
@zendermeister what i mean by 'i'm not really bothered is that i can agree to disagree with you on this topic.... I consider you a fellow member of the body apart from our differences in this area... Saddam Hussein will one day be in the body of Christ for real..However you seem inconsistent with the statement "We are saved by grace, but certainly not apart from teaching" - so it's not solely by grace then,there is something we 'must' do to be saved ie 'believe correct teaching'
Oh, my goodness. Saddam Hussein never will be in the body of Christ. You are badly mistaken to discount teaching. What is the gospel, but teaching? You discount the gospel itself. We are not saved by belief, but we believe because we are saved. It is GRACE that causes us to believe truth. Those selected beforehand for Christ's body will be believing truth, not error. According to you, there is no difference between truth and error. That is so erroneous.
I think I see the problem, Cellar Dweller. You are not distinguishing between membership in the body of Christ, and general salvation. Saddam Hussein will be saved, but will never be in Christ's body. Membership in Christ's body entails believing a body of teaching. Again, this does not eliminate grace, for it is only by grace than anyone can believe in the evangel of Paul. Hussein will be saved by sight, not by faith in the evangel of Paul. I hope this helps. Blessings.
@LukeJ60 You left out a verse. Gen 1:27 So God created man in his OWN image... So what now? Is this a contradiction of "own" referring to something else. I know the answer.
Last verses of Matthew 28: Going, then, disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to be keeping all, whatever I direct you. I'm happy to see someone made a video like this.
The trinity never made sence to me, even as a child, when these fantasey ideas are SUPPOSED to make sence.
The trinity exhists in almost all Satanic religions and the tradition continued into Christianity.
I tell people, I am not a Christian, I just follow Christ. I don't listen to Christians, I only listen to Christ.
It takes a long time to learn what parts of the Bible the Council of Nicea didn't lie about. Satan was on that council.

@Conspiratardz The one where neither truth nor the consequences for rejecting the truth doesn't change. How about you?

If we look for a scripture that articulates exactly what we are looking for, we will limit our understanding. The Holy Spirit is our teacher through our spirit that speaks to our soul. Our soul's reasoning must submit to what we hear and we are given the gift of discerning of spirits to know our Shepherd from the wolves. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. We don't develop faith by hearing the word directly to our mind but into our spirit to guide our soul. We die to our soul's will.

Yes, I can tell that you have relegated your mind to the back seat of your being.

@RayGray77

@whiskeyfoxpix
Blessings.

wow. immature. Why not just follow Jesus' teachings instead of worrying about doctrines and making arrogant videos?
adamdanielman 3 months ago
@adamdanielman you kinda have to worry about dotrines in order to follow Jesus. Especially when Paul says in 1Timothy that there are doctrines of demons.

"Why not just follow Jesus' teachings instead of worrying about teachings." Brilliant!
zendermeister 3 months ago

@dwellceller ...than Grace....we are saved by Grace not by doctrines...
dwellceller 3 months ago
@dwellceller
Otherwise, we have no need for the apostle Paul.
zendermeister 3 months ago
@dwellceller
I have no idea what you are saying. Can you recast this post so that is makes sense? What is your point--in plain English.
zendermeister 3 months ago
@zendermeister what i mean by 'i'm not really bothered is that i can agree to disagree with you on this topic.... I consider you a fellow member of the body apart from our differences in this area... Saddam Hussein will one day be in the body of Christ for real..However you seem inconsistent with the statement "We are saved by grace, but certainly not apart from teaching" - so it's not solely by grace then,there is something we 'must' do to be saved ie 'believe correct teaching'
dwellceller 3 months ago
@dwellceller
That is so erroneous.
zendermeister 3 months ago
@dwellceller
Blessings.

John 10:11: "I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep"
Genesis 1:26: "Come, let US make man in OUR image"
Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" the word used for God in this passage is Elohim, meaning more than two.
LukeJ60 3 months ago
@LukeJ60 You left out a verse. Gen 1:27 So God created man in his OWN image... So what now? Is this a contradiction of "own" referring to something else. I know the answer.
