Don't say Poland wouldn't have won anyway with Boniek playing, it's impossible to say. Fact is: He was our key player and watching this video you can clearly see that the team misses a leader. Italy had more good players back then and they probably deserved the World Cup. But don't forget their mediocre performance in the first 3 matches, they only hit their stride after the first group stage. At the same time we played great matches against Peru and Belgium.
