I use American Crew: Fiber and do a messy faux hawk and i plan on using wax nearly every time i do my hair and try new styles. No but its easier to overheat, fx if you iron a thick shirt i can take more heat than a thin, but remember to use heat protection (its a light oil that absorb the heat around the hair straw)

Everytime I slick back my hair, it gets spiky like needles... I have tried ID Hair Gold and Titanium, but in few minutes the hair "unslicks". Maybe it happens, because my hair grows in the front way?

@mixernX HI It is maybe because you have to add the wax when you have damped hair, and slick it back with a brush, and dry it, and ad some more.
