that is exactly how omar creates his sound. If oyu have a moog and are wondering what the settings were i can tell you. By the way this video was done on a clean mode instead of distortion. With distortion the roullete dares effect sounds fuckin cool!
sadly i dont have a moog, but i recently bought myself a line6 m13 stomp modeller. i tried to get that intro sound by changing the (carrier-?) frequency slowly from high to low to high and so on, but its just not the same. the settings probably wont help me, but perhaps you could tell me, what the moog does exactly to get that effect?
i believe it is near impossible to replicate this effect without using a moog. I have never heard a sound like it before and whne i have people have used this pedal. The LFO has to be set so a sine wave form an the frequency of the modulator has to be high. That being said you need to adjust the frequency again! Its fucked up! lol
My suggestion.... fork out the money and buy one. You will not regret the purity of it!
Great video. I've been searching the past few days for a video that paired this with a digitech whammy. It's given me a good idea of what to expect before I shell out the money for one. Sweet user name by the way.
yeah its definitely great fun combining the whammy and the moogerfooger... they are my two fav pedals. Just remember for the REALLy spacy sound combine it with a delay of some type to add even more depth/trippiness to your sound!
whats your whole signal chain?

I could use one of those. It would be great with and expression pedal to control the ring mod
