  • socialism is unwanted here in the US go away!!!!!

  • Okay it is late now. English is very hard.

    L'Anglais est difficile.

  • Thank you by the way. I try my best for English. My language is Lingala and French. Please forgive my mistakes. Sincerely, I appreciate your contribution.

  • At the end of the video change to Did I tell you...

  • love the video.. the pics of world reactions was touching :)

  • i liked this video above all the music have you got more papa wemba songs the great ones please.

    carry one this way brother

  • I love the video!

  • Per pupil spending (adjusted for inflation) across the nation is higher than ever. Yet have the outputs (students ready for the world) improved dramatically? I doubt anyone will say they have.

Federal spending on education (again adjusted) has more than doubled over the past 2-3 decades. The question then is what good does the US Dept of Education do? Again, when most decisions are made at the county/state level, what purpose does the Dept of Ed do?

  • I grew up in a small, working class town and saw those life had thrown a curve ball. But also saw those who wasted their time and money on alcohol and drugs. Wasting their lives. Will more govt spending fix that problem when people are ruining their own lives? Again no.

Education-people look to the Pres to solve education when the vast majority (about 90%) of funding comes from the state and local level. Decisions are made at that level.

  • .... and their office. Craig, Stevens, Cunningham (Congressman and Navy fighter ace over Vietnam-the only Navy ace of the war), Dodd, Frank, Blago, William Jefferson. The list is endless.

Even as a libertarian/conservative I agree that society and govt have a responsibility to help those who "have not" as you say. But when I look at the factual data on poverty spending over the years, you see vast sums of money that have not solved the "War on Poverty" as Pres Johnson termed it.

  • AdrienneTrouble:

Good points and I do honestly respect your view. My question would be, have we ONLY seen "greed" during the past 8 years. Honestly no. Look at the boom of the 90s. You saw a vast expansion of wealth and new wealth generated. Greed, in both its good and bad forms, exists across the political spectrum. Witness Gov Blago in Illinois. I too am disgusted by the corruption on both sides. Particularly as a Marine it angers me to see public servants dishonor themselves...

  • Do not be mistaken. I did not vote for him BUT he IS MY PRESIDENT. PERIOD. I may disagree with him on many issues. Fine. But first I am an American. Political I.D. is WAY down the list after US Marine and collegiate affiliation.

But if you all believe he will solve all these problems, you are setting yourselves up for a serious letdown. Somehow, for some reason, you place your faith in government to solve all these problems when that may not always be the solution.

  • wylee, as am AD Navy I salute you, my fellow shipmate. I voted for Obama and I do not expect him to solve all of our problems. What O represents is a return to the nation we once were. Where we really looked out for each other both corporate and worker.. even in the military. We have become such a nation of greed that we have forgotten that loyalty is a two edged sword. Those that have must also have loyalty to those who have not. Thank you for your service. I hope that you vote for him in 4yrs

  • What else:

-Get the Palestinians and Israelis to stop killing each other

-Stop "manmade" global warming when China just passed the US as the leading emitter of CO2.

-End the threat posed by the fringe radical faction of Islam (ex. Mumbai India, Al Qaeda)

-End the slaughter of people in the Sudan, Somalia, etc.

-Get all the world to love the US, even if we cede leadership to the "vaunted" UN and EU (note sarcasm there)

-Gee, this list could go on and on.

  • Please explain to me how Pres elect Obama will "solve" the problems of society? Will he somehow:

-the 65+% illegitimacy rate among blacks

-which in turn is directly linked to the disproportionatly high rates of poverty, crime, dropping out of high school

-the economic shift away from old-school heavy industry towards more knowledge based economies (note: China has lost millions of mfg jobs the past decade, not just the US)

-somehow cover ALL Americans with health care 4 less money(Dream on)

  • What a COOL video. Thank you, I'm sending it on.

  • Love it!!!
