Thank you for posting this! AWESOME. My father & I work together & are both getting one next week. Can't wait to show this to him. We're real estate appraisers and they'll soon offer an app that we can do nealry the entire report on our phone while at the house and just send the photos/data to our computer! CRAZY! Can you download movies on it?
Kool phone, but I'm with AT&T and they don't have it...even if they did I don't buy phones. Only free for me. Last go around I got the blackjack II and my wife a blackberry. Another thing is, I want the capability of getting online via wifi, but NOT having to pay for a data plan.
Yeah I just checked since my contract is coming up for renewal and I can't keep my same deal (2 phones unlimited minutes and txt/pix messages for $89) and even upgrade to the newest version of my phone (samsung blackjack II). Oh well. Guess I'll just keep mine until it dies.
I've been a flip phone guy for years (currently Samsung Alias 2) because I'm worried about how well a smart phone would hold up. I can't be bothered with babying a phone but I know I'm missing out on tons of apps I could use. You might have convinced me to give this phone a try....with insurance.
Imagine if someone 15 years ago told you that you will have satelite view and other cool stuff in your pocket. If gun technology grow like phones we will shoot lasers today :)
Yup I already filmed some bar code stuff at the local big box store, it's cool how the phone can save you money, maybe even pay for its self in savings
Awesome review man!

This phone is awsome. I had an iPhone and then took a chance on the droid and I won't regret it.

do a search for "bugless beast" to see what your Droid's real potential is.

These use wi-fi and / or the 3g wireless
GearBuyersGuide 2 years ago
Right. Some companies have gotten to where they won't allow you to have a smart phone without the data plan.

@GearBuyersGuide hows the $30 plan work? does it just add $30 to your regular cell phone bill or is it $30 all together?? thanks

@JaredProject
i'm no expert.. but we pay like $50 for the phone part, then an additional $30 for the data to get online, for a total of $80 per month

@GearBuyersGuide

Great review! I can't convince myself to get rid of my Blackberry Curve yet. This looks pretty tempting, but I use the BB messenger too much.
