  • Neat looking game. How did you manage so many animated 3d models at one time? I hit a performance wall at about 5 or 6 on xbox and about 10 - 12 on PC

  • It took me roughly 100 hours to optimze that. My new version is 10 times as fast as that. In a nutshell XNA is not designed to make production games, the fact that many calls return structs such as matrix on the stack is the cause as these are value types. Using slimline you must profile and remove all value copying among other things.
