The problem with the Public Option is that most people will dumped into it by their employer because it will be cheaper. The Public Option, by the legislation, follow the practice of underpaying doctors and hospitals by 20-40%. Private insurance companies be be unable to compete. The American public will be left with no choice but govt run healthcare. If it turns out anything like Canada or the UK, expect rationing, waiting lists and a drop off in quality. The costs will be astronomical Vote NO!

I have been a nurse for a long time and the insurance companies DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. I have seen many people who have insurance get dropped because they were diagnosed with cancer,and the insurance companies deem it a pre-exsisting condition. These Insurance companies also do this with woman having problems with pregnancy....dropped for a pre exsisting condition as well.WAKE UP WE NEED A PUBLIC OPTION.

If the average person had to pay for their insurance themselves, they'd have to pay on average $525.00 to $600.00 per month and its going up. This isn't a very good ad. Negative campaigns require a direct connection between the person and the undesirable attribute. This ad fails to have a constant negative association. If I were to tune in after the note about companies funding senators I would just see the names of people the ad intended to hurt. This provides those individuals with increased name recognition for free.

i have never received a bill for any health related (excluding dental) issue. i lived in england when i was young. i saw the doctor for free there too.
