  • Thumbs up to my Cherokee brothers picking up the end of the line! WoOt!

  • wow wanna see more of other nation dances :) just love see!!

  • Looking to join mohawk people to share and connect...for a good reason ...pls add me as a friend

  • thumbs up for the afro headdress.

  • Aboriginal cultures are so fascinating. I just love the fact that Native people of the Turtle Island never let the invaders destroy their spirit and culture. Right now more than ever Aboriginals are letting their voice be heard and strive for more autonomy and nationhood.

  • I have alwasys been facinated with Native Canadian culture and when I found out that there is supposed to be Native roots in my genes I was ecstatic. I've been told that I look Ojibwe and Iriquois and where my mom comes from in Québec there's a lot of Mohawk land. I would love to find out for sure and actully know that I'm Native instead of hoping to be.

  • @ArcticWolf424

    OOOPPPPPSSSS typo Iroquois

  • Nice. Luv the outfits.

  • that was cool

  • If I were native what would I do? I would start a tourist organizaton bringing all the Canadian people into the reserves. I would set it up as a celebration of the culture Canada lost. I would of course have an under lying motive but I would play dumb just like the government. I would get the flocks of people who don't see into my land and exspose them that is what I would do!

  • I live in Saskatchewan and there are a lot of indigenous people of this land. What I would like to see the revival of their culture. Things like: men with long hair, traditional cloths, speak their language openly and have their cultural events in cities for all the foreigners to see and enjoy the true Canadian culture for this is indigenous to this land.

  • @MrIndianSupporter I would like to see that too. I think the Prairies First Nations are under-represented even in native culture in Canada.

  • I wouldnt call indigenous people First Nations, that is the whites lie. Its says that they are the first group of people to come to this land and we all know it is not the case. Indigenous people are part and parcel of the land given to them by the creator. Calling indigenous people First Nations gives all these foreigners the right to the land they stole from the indigenous people. I am a foreigner and I make no clam to this land.

  • @MrIndianSupporter why would it be the whites lie? You probably support the native people as a ethnic minority because you hate whites and are looking for support of your cause. Are you muslim also?

  • @clintleung the prairies are under-represented in everything. lol

  • I couldnt agree with you more, then so many more people would see NA as a culture and not just the drunkard....etc

  • @MrIndianSupporter What I would like to see as a white Canadian is that you all start major tourism industry and make every body that bread you make. And be really nice to them and act like it is a legitimate tourist industry. Which many curious Canadians could flock to, then you nicely be hospitable and blow the top of the governments policies which have put your people into 3rd world environments on some reserves. Play dumb like they do and let Canadians see the truth!

  • @MrIndianSupporter

Well, that's not "true" Canadian culture, because they never (even before colonization) considered themselves Canadian.

  • @AbyssCrown Well, you can say that but it's really problematic when you make generalizations like that. That's maybe true for some natives, but there's a great diversity of native people's in this country who all have their own histories, and many natives are very patriotic Canadians who still cherish their local native identities, languages and traditions, while still being Canadians. That's not so different from the situations of people in, say, Cape Breton, with unique traditions.
