Well hyjal is a place where there is no NPCS...so it's a kind of boring but why would they close it?A big place there blizz have wasted time on doing it and you can't come in... it most be something about it!If they don't open it again there retards and i don't think blizz are that dum...They most open it again with NPCS and instance(s)...

I hope they will release present day Hyjal to live servers as a patch like they did with Ahn'Quiraj.. you know, the world tree gains enough power from the thousands of years its been there to be of use once more to the races of azeroth and have some great force (The Burning Legion) suddenly try to go after the world tree to drain it of its magics and try to ressurect archimonde while having swarms of demons try to fend off any intruders. It'd be so kool!

that actually sounds plausible but from what ive seen (the warcraft mini moovie thing of the attack on the world tree) the tree wasnt destoryed it was abrely touched so can someone expalain to me why Teldressil was made and the oringinal world tree left behind?

@Automonaut9 i think it was because nordrassil (world tree :P) lost some of its power, and in using it to defeat archimonde they were no longer immortal. they decided teldrassil might help them get it back

It's still possible to get to Mount Hyjal now on live server... You just have to use lag to get there, it prevent's you from getting the debuff. I tried it yesterday :)

No man's land debuff prevents you from entering Hyjal. But it would be a shame if they left that large amount of land inaccessible. Maybe it will be a future quest hub.
