I have owned several guinea pigs and snakes; although I wouldn't say guinea pigs are the best food for larger snakes (long hair can cause constipation), you still shouldn't try to push your morality on someone else. Feeding frozen rodents reduces the risk of harm to the snake, reduces stress for both owner and reptile, and prevents you from having to watch a cute little mouse suffer. They are often cheaper too!. Folk only feed ther snakes live feed to get a kick out of it (because its live ,it doesent make it better for the snake)

I don't think its right to feed a snake a guinea pig that you would pay 30 dollars for at petco and receive a certificate vowing that you would take care of it. Well said. And most of these fools that compain about their precious rodents being fed to reptiles are perfectly fine with eating cows, pigs and chicken who often go through way worse deaths to end up on their plate. Reptiles are purely carnivorous so one can't feed them vegetables.
Also in nature these rodents often meet way more gruesome deaths than being suffocated by a snake. I've seen a stoat eat a rabbit while it's still alive and screams in pain. That's nature.

I don't think I've seen a guinea pig waltz up to a snake and give it a peck on the cheek or anything like that (standard behavior for rabbits), but neither do most of them hold still. Pigs and cows are way more developed mammals than some stupid rodent, and if anything it's way more "cruel" for them to be slaughtered to become food for us, who can live without meat, than a dumb rodent that exists solely to become prey to predators in nature and has no other use.

Well said. And most of these fools that compain about their precious rodents being fed to reptiles are perfectly fine with eating cows, pigs and chicken who often go through way worse deaths to end up on their plate. Reptiles are purely carnivorous so one can't feed them vegetables.
Also in nature these rodents often meet way more gruesome deaths than being suffocated by a snake. I've seen a stoat eat a rabbit while it's still alive and screams in pain. That's nature.

Piggie-wiggies are so much smarter than bunnies -- but unfortunately for them, not smart enough. I don't think I've seen a guinea pig waltz up to a snake and give it a peck on the cheek or anything like that (standard behavior for rabbits), but neither do most of them hold still. If nothing else, they shake and twitch and shiver and let their teeth chatter in fear (as if holding still does any good either).

In Peru they breed these delicious animals called cuy and over hundreds of years they selected the most docile and dumb of the species to breed the next generation (much like beef stock cattle).
