From what I hear I know its on the Carnival Pride you do have to pay for soda and alcohol and all other food and drinks are free. Other activities I dont know but I would still watch my spending on a cruise.

Why should I give them more money , If I already paid them like 7,000 dollars ! Like those specialty restaurants TO ME are stupid. It's the same food I could get in the Windjammer , for free !! well it doesn't take a genius to think how much that ship came to cost and where the money comes from? customers of course.

My honest opinion is that there are cheaper ships should you be low on money.

And maybe that "maiden" is something not meant for the poorest of people.

you are so right. we were on the maiden (the 'real') maiden voyage on the 5th of december. the amount of stuff on board that you have to pay extra for is phenomenal! we spent around £980 ($1,400 approx) just on our ship cards and we didnt exactly go mad! we mostly stuck to the free stuff and only bought a few gifts and cocktails and stuff. the holiday was mind blowing and the ship herself is faultless, too bad she is being run by rci! every dealing we have had with them has been a let down!!!
