I think she quickly switched out with a body double wearing Moon's Senshi fuku to give the impression Moon transformed in that darkness. But it's really hard to tell if i'm right or not.
Wow that made me cry. I have lost some people that were dear to me. I know how Usagi feels. That really got to me. I loved it so much. I wish I could see all of this play.

Anza moon, Ayako mercury, Misako mars, Rei pluto and Sanae uranus
and the screams in the end send chill down my spine everytime
[anza has proved how cool can scream with her Headphone President band :D ]
ps: Miyuki is also my fav moon and Nao also my fav uranus but i cant nobody can replace those mercury, mars and PLUTO
