There is nothing generic on that album and definitely not made with radio in mind. You say that rock bands write and produce their own music...but so does Beyonce! @Smythy7 I don't think she should have headlined either, but I know alot of people enjoyed her. The only reason why she headlined was because The Rolling Stones demanded 2 million quid to put in a performance, which is ridiculous considering Glasto's known to only pay 200,000 to headliners. I was more than happy enough to have Beyonce with Queens on the other stage. Queens were ridiculously good, was so happy to Better Living Through Chemistry.

My guess is that most people who say Beyonce isn't 'Glastonbury' enough have probably never actually been to Glastonbury. And if they have they didn't get into the spirit of the thing. It's about people getting together and getting along. The headline act doesn't have to be challenging or intellectual, it simply has to unite as many people as possible. She nailed it.

I have never seen Glastonbury come to life the way it did last Sunday, never really payed much attention until now. Beyonce brought a whole new meaning to "LIVE" performances! She out there poruing her heart out for almst 2hrs straight. And still looks like she could go on for another 2 hrs!! So intense, so powerful and beautiful in every way imagined!! @peshayuk I respect your opinion, but it is unfair to put Beyonce into a box and classify her as making generic pop music. Listen to her new album, "4". There is nothing generic on that album and definitely not made with radio in mind. You say that rock bands write and produce their own music...but so does Beyonce! She has always been very involved in the creation of her music dating back to the Destiny's Child days.

@Smythy7 I don't think she should have headlined either, but I know alot of people enjoyed her. The only reason why she headlined was because The Rolling Stones demanded 2 million quid to put in a performance, which is ridiculous considering Glasto's known to only pay 200,000 to headliners. I was more than happy enough to have Beyonce with Queens on the other stage. Queens were ridiculously good, was so happy to Better Living Through Chemistry.

I was watching Queens so I missed her, but you can't criticise her enthusiasm towards playing the festival. Fair play to her, especially considering you get all the cases of these divas who'd kick up a huge fuss at the sight of mud. (Kings of Leon)

Why make all these negative comments?! Maybe she doesn't fit the typical Glasto headliner BUT FOR GOODNESS SAKE, SHE WAS GREAT! We all loved being there watching her perform her ass of. It was nice to end the festival with a party. Whatever your taste in music, a great performer is a great performer. Just leave her alone. Give props where they're due! If you don't like her MOVE ON!

My guess is that most people who say Beyonce isn't 'Glastonbury' enough have probably never actually been to Glastonbury. And if they have they didn't get into the spirit of the thing. It's about people getting together and getting along. The headline act doesn't have to be challenging or intellectual, it simply has to unite as many people as possible. She nailed it.

I have never seen Glastonbury come to life the way it did last Sunday, never really payed much attention until now. Beyonce brought a whole new meaning to "LIVE" performances! She out there poruing her heart out for almst 2hrs straight. And still looks like she could go on for another 2 hrs!! So intense, so powerful and beautiful in every way imagined!! Much RESPECT to a genuine artist!!!
