No, I don't agree with you. Speak words of hope and faith during prayer or else pray in tounges ... remember the power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) ...
I agree we should be honest with the Father and tell him what we feel. But i also believe these scriptures for when we ate communicating apart from speaking to God. "Life and death are in the power of the tongue." "You are snared by the words of your mouth." "You will have what you say." "A man will eat good by the fruit of his lips." and, "...if you believe what you say will come to pass, you will have whatsoever you say." "Call those things that be not as though they are." and...many more...
This message has given me a renewed sense of freedom, and affirmation. God bless you Steve, the truth that you shared in this video has helped me in my gracewalk.
So it IS okay to be mad at God sometimes, and very confused? By the way, is it okay to use swear words? Can I say F*&# everything sometimes? I think I said that word to my Mom one day-
Have you read Psalms? King David was full of doubt, depression, confusion, and anger. Then after expressing himself, David always turned everything to God, because God was the Lord of His life.
God already knows everything about us. He knows when we are happy, or sad, or mad. God already knows. So why not be like David, and tell God what we're feeling? That's when God can deal with our issues.

Elsewhere in the book of Psalms, the psalmist also makes reference to pouring out his complaint before the Lord.
