Awesome. That's not butchering, thats close to nailing! I've always wanted to learn to play an irish instrument. How much did that whistle cost you?

Penny Whistles are usually pretty inexpensive, this one is just ABS plastic and I think it was about $20--which is actually a markup as somebody added price to it for painting it a bit!
You can usually get a decent metal one for $10 to 20 US.
