Yes, definitely look at pogobat's videos. They'll help immensely. I've got one of the videos faved, so you can find it on my profile. Just expand the info and click the first video and follow through. You should be able to complete the cube using only three algorithms after you learn to F2L (Fridrich method is THE easiest, even though people say it's "intermediate to advanced").
