They don't perform circus trics for food and it's not cruel. If you actualy listen to what he says in the start (Doesn't show on this vid but i've seen it myself about 6-7 times wich i were old enought to understand anything of it). but anyways. It's not circus tricks but they'r training them to stimulate their brains in doing different tricks.
The tricks can be helpful too, they learned the seals to do life saving ;D
