If anyone EVERY has the chance to see Linda live, do not let it get past you. She is absolutely as amazing in person as she is on CD, or TV, or anything else. And the friendliest, most down to earth artist I have ever had the blessing to meet. (And I've met her several times)

I just think she is an amazing singer. Up there with the greatest ones of all time.....and we know who they are. I'm saddened by the fact her career kinda went south, but it doesn't take away from her talent at all. Jane Olivor had the same fate. Oh, BTW I'm a big fan of Barbra's cover of Bowie.
@vadooladead Her career never went south. She never wanted all that fame and fortune. She is very happy doing what she does, making what she does, and playing to smaller, intimate crowds everywhere she goes. I think she may be the best singer I have ever heard.

And now I feel as if my feelings have been touched by the very meaning of that word. I feel so at ease and for almost 5 minutes I was somewhere else but on this planet.
Listen to Elvis's version of Bridge Over Troubled Water in Vegas in 1970. Paul Simon said it was his favorite cover of Bridge... It's great. Linda is my favorite female singer. She is the best!
