Just one question : Can you play Godanginuta on koto ALONG with shakuhachi ? I think that would be great.Thanx, wish you all the best

  • Thank you for the honorable comment.

We are very happy to know our music moved your heart.

How do you know about Japanese traditional music?

You live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, very far from Japan.

Most people even do not know where is Japan located.

Playing Godanginuta on shakuhachi is a little bit difficult.

But we will look forward a good player, and try to play together.

Again, thanks for your cordial comment.

  • i'm a 20 years man that listen to metal.

i live in italy, in the other side of the world, but i can't stop listening this music, has something hypnotic and magic at the same time.

japan is a wonderful place with wonderful instruments and great musician

  • Ciao,

  • Hello. I'm a Japanese woman. (Excuse me.I'm poor at Engish,so I might not describe what I'm thought. )

I'm glad to listen your word.Because I've played Koto for 18 years and love this instrument very much! Thanks.

This music ;GODANGINUTA means five stages of KINUTA.

Kinuta is a wood or a rack made by sotne .When people wash clothes and put a gloss on them, they use them as tools in the old days. This music is composed five stages. So this title is five stages of KINUTA.

  • thank you :); i love talk about different types of music of the world, and i'm always glad to talk to someone who could teach me something I don't know about that.

and don't worry, my english is terrible XD

  • 解説ありがとうございます!

  • Wow!

This is my first time ever of watching Godan Kinuta being played. It's enjoyable to listen to if you understand it, but it' quite a bitch to play. Such dexterity and skill exhibited by these musicians. Phenomenal!!!

  • Thank you very much for the comment.

It's interesting that you (American) enjoy the sense of "Godan-ginuta".

"Phenomenal" I looked the word up in my dictionary.

    Thanks a lot!!
