@DawnasarusRex it's actually really random for me.. sometimes i'll sit down to write and draw a complete blank and get one line down.... some of the songs i wrote (black days) just came out in under 10-15 minutes. i think it all depends on mood, emotion, and timing... the more you do it though the better you get at it... as far as finishing the songs... that is something i need to work on too, i have a ton of unfinished songs too.... just gotta bit the bullet and finalize the lyrics :D

@DawnasarusRex awesome! it can be frustrating for sure, but persistence is the key. my biggest inspiration when it comes to music is the feeling i get when i'm involved in it somehow whether it's writing, performing, producing etc... i just can't describe it really. my dream is to be a performer, and own a home studio where i can release my own work and make a decent living (and not have to support myself by working in a restaurant, ugh)
