  • @SalArtkip I think so, yes. I’ll respond to your email shortly. I’ll do my best to help out in any case. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • I'm very thankful!

  • @Maarttttt It's my pleasure. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions

Dou you sell burned screens? We just want to do a run of shirts while we get enough money to buy professional printed ones. We can provide artwork on vectors but we do not want to spend money on the adventure of learning to create the stencils. will be as big as the one you show in your dragon video and will have 3 images on it.

    Please let us know.

  • @bajaexcursions No, I do not as of yet. I may add that service to the website at some point. Make sure to add the Catspit website to your favorites and check out all the great screen printing info there. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • Thanks for your videos, they're helpful. I haven't yet been able to create a successful stencil. I apply emulsion first on the ink well side, then the back, and another on the front again. Then place under a 120 watt halogen light for 12 min's, but the stencil is coming out only partially. Do you think I'm over or under exposing? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

  • @gregoriodavila You are welcome; it is my pleasure to help out. Glad you like the videos. Try coating the screen only once on each side and use a higher wattage bulb. I suggest a 500 watt work lamp and take the glass out. The glass in those things often has a UV filter coating. UV light is what you need to cure emulsion. Good luck! Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions ....hi can you help me about the transfer paper...how many times can i use transfer paper...pls help me:)

  • @badney4238 You can only use transfer paper once, unless someone created something I don’t know about. But that would be amazing technology. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Dear Casper,

    A good illustration from you!

WE are a trader in Promotional Goods, specially in T shirts, we are doing screen prints, and heat transfer. Advise in Heat transfer, how to make the Print life longer and longer.

  • @MegaJunda Thank you! All you have to do is use a very high quality heat transfer and make sure that you follow the instructions well. Your application will ultimately determine the success and longevity of your heat transfer. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • i really respect you. thank you for all your information, most screen printers are very secretive. thank you

  • @vampa1218 You are welcome. It is my pleasure to help out. I think most screen printers are protective of their skills because they are afraid of creating their own competition. I do not fear that, there is plenty of room for printers of all kinds and just because you teach someone how to screen print doesn’t mean they will become a successful screen printer. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • Dude, Much respect on how many questions you answer on here. you dont see that often.

  • @halfbreed02 - Thank you very much. I appreciate you letting me know. It is not easy to keep up with all the questions but I manage to somehow. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • im using 43t screens at the moment would it be better to use a finer screen! and would you see a better image?

    thanks

  • I am not really familiar with 43T nomenclature but if you mean a 43 mesh count then that is way huge. The finer the mesh count, the better the detail your stencil will be able to get. Higher mesh counts tend to hold a thinner coating of emulsion too. Thinner stencils are better for detail as well. Check out the Catspit website for more information about mesh usage. Link is on the channel page. Thanks for watching!

  • can you post a video of half tones and CMYK color thanks

  • Halftone printing is an advanced process that requires automatic printing for best result. You can check out the Printing Articles section and under the Article Archives tab you will find an article which covers halftone printing. And there is an article about mixing ink for colors including process colors. Link is on the channel page. Eventually I will do a video on 1 color halftone printing. Thanks for watching!

  • I have a question for you Jonathan I have 3M Transparency for copiers PP2500 and I am trying to print some text for my first print and the ink is not drying fast enough. Is there any way to speed up the process? Thanks

  • I am not familiar with this transparency. But I do know certain inkjet inks can have problems with incompatible films. The only thing I can suggest is try a different printer with different ink and it may be fine. Thanks for watching!

  • when starting new to this business should i go heat press transfers methos or the silk screen method? wich will generate more income? thanx again dude. ive been doing my own research and would luv the advice from an expert.

  • It is not a question of which will generate more revenue because that will depend on your sales and business skills. The question is what kind of quality you are looking for and how much money and space do you have to commit to the endeavor. My advice is, if you are serious about starting a business and have the tenacity, determination, desire to learn, and finally the money and space to work in; I would definitely go with screen printing. It is a better product overall. Thanks for watching!

  • hey dude. great stuff. i am an artist that has been dreaming of doing what you do.

i dont have much money i have about 4500 and was looking into heat press transfer...and will build up to a bigger way like what you do. do you have any advice. how expensive is it to start a screen print business at home? thanx again dude.

  • Check out the Equipment Sales page on the Catspit website to get an idea of what decent equipment costs to start up a print shop. The link is in the sidebar and on my channel page. Thanks for the great comment!

  • @megarepsol As a graphics designer who's been working from his home for the last 5 years or so, I'd say welcome to the coolest business to be in! I sell on ebay and amazon. Either venue can have your products selling within minutes for next to nothing.

  • im looking to get into the screen printing industry, using mostly ebay and selling locally to sell my shirts. Please email me back because I'm wondering how you sell your shirts, ive looked on ebay and saw some but Im just wondering if you use any other forums for your sales.

  • Selling shirts on EBay can be wickedly competitive. I will send you a message regarding this question. Thanks for watching!

  • this is freaking awesome., great!! keep it up.,

  • Thanks very much!

  • hey how do you shade in silk screening? and is it recommended to actuallly use silk? lol!

  • Shading or the appearance of continuous tones in screen printing is done with halftones. The general overview of screen printing article on the website covers this a bit. I hope to get more into art in the future. Silk is actually not used in commercial screen printing. It is now mostly polyester and sometimes nylon. Thanks for watching!

  • Great info. Thanks you for sharing your knowledge.

  • Youre welcome. It is my pleasure to teach screen printing to those who wish to learn. Thanks for the comment!

  • Great video.

    Do you run a course?

Can ya print onto plastic like the material used for clothes covers/suit covers?

  • I am planning on offering a course here in Arizona. I still have to fill in a few key pieces of equipment to complete the equation. Yes, you can print on plastics, vinyl, metals, etc....BUT you will need to use the appropriate ink or ink additive. Thanks for the comment!

  • Very cool website. Thanks for your effort!
