MY dad has a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4S and I would take this over his just for that chrome strip on the roofline. It really accents the lines of the car.

I really agree with this. I guess this is a really old post, but that aluminum strip is very tastefully done. Gives the car a lot of character along with the tons of glass. Who cares about slightly diminished performance when you get such a beautiful package and most of hte benefit of a convertible?

I love it, my dad had a 82' or 83' Targa, pearl white. He got rid of it for no reason 11 years ago and im still mad at him!

No reason? Was he mad, or did he find another car to replace it? Maybe pressure him to think about one more "kick of the can..:)!" This targa would be a wise choice.

I think its a better alternative to the regular Coupe, Cabriolet or Opening-Hardtop world where all the cars look essentially the same. 911 being so unique it has invented the targa design and now perfected it so that you don't have to take the roof off manually. It's unique, inspired... perfect :)
