Being able to stand on a block and put your hands flat on the mat in front seems to require very open hamstrings, or shorter legs than I have, but it seems that one needs that level of clearance to get the clean float forward.
Thank you for sharing the technique and giving exercises for people who may not be ready for the full float yet. So far, I have only found instructions like this on Youtube.
