Even in the midst of a budget crisis, unemployment & the wide gap between the rich and the rest, the Dems refuse to push the idea of restoring the top marginal tax rate of 50 percent which prevailed during most of Reagans presidency.
Now the rate is 35%. Another GOP president, Eisenhower, made sure the marginal rate stayed at 90%.
We have a budget crisis. Jesus.
