I think he did well b/c he didn't try to do it like mike kept the melody but didn't try to do it like mike, b/c no one can do it like mj. So whenever you cover the k.o.p you have to make it your own so ppl don't compare you to mj b/c in that res[ect you'll never measure up

Oh man...that falsetto was horrid. That's a really hard song to cover. You shouldn't unless you can hit those notes or you are going to do something completely different with it.

It was good until the falsetto part. Mike's version was so much smoother and simple. In Mike's version there is a little embellishment on the phrase "Oh why, oh why" which is so pleasing to hear. Listen to the rate he changed notes, they just slid like honey. In contrast, this dudes vocal acrobatics on the falsetto part really kills it and at times sounds out of tune. The beginning was hot though.

Guys, stop being so rude. Sure, this version of Human Nature is obviously not better than the original, but it could have been way worse. I think Matt did a pretty good job singing it. I mean, he's no Michael Jackson, but nobody is! And it was a week where they had to sing MJ songs. He probably wouldn't have attempted a music legend's song otherwise! Matt has a great voice, whether or not it worked with this song in your opinion. But by saying he sounded "too white" you're just being racist.

Nice try... Sometimes I tell myself that people should not even try to interprete MJ songs: when you hear someone else singing it, you can' t concentrate or appreciate because you start thinking of MJ beautyfull voice and his very own incredible style, and all the others are singing shit in comparison. Adam, the "screamer" can't sing (however, he is a candidate for burlesque). Allison needs a decongestant she sounds so warbled all the time. Gokey oversings everything.
