As a trained ear, I know the difference between Michael's studio recordings, pre-recordings (for lip syncing) and his live performances. Many artists, especially those who sing & dance, sometimes lip sync...for legitimate reasons, including stamina, health, technical, or acoustics.

If you want to hear him really performing the songs live, you shoul check out the Bad Tour, where there isn't even one song lip synced.
In the Dangerous Tour he sings most of the songs live, but some not. What is completely understandable. Because the dance is more elaborated than in the Bad Tour.
Yea he sung everything live in the 1st leg of the Bad Tour, the 2nd leg was also partially lipsynched. (Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel, Man in the Mirror)

He does lip sync at some points. You'll notice that it is usually the songs where there is alot of dancing. If he were to sing live on these songs he would sound really out of breath, which doesn't sound good. But the slower, mid tempo songs he is singing live. You can tell the difference I'm sure.
I heard That he doesn't lipsync but there is a play back in the history tour because when there was alot of dancing at a lot of points he had to use a playback so it doesn't sound like he's out of breath PLUS he was a little sick in the history tour
