  • Thurston is so underground he doesn't know what everyone hates ono...

  • it either sound like cats mating or Ms Ono having an on stage orgasm.....

  • i just lol'd...alot

  • This is from Life With the Lions, Unfinished Music, Volume 2. If it's not good, then why do some many people applaud at its performance?

  • She's still got it!!

    I just hope I don't catch it...

  • The best version of this is included on Yoko's fabulous Album 'Blueprint For A Sunrise'!

  • GO GO GO YOKO!!!!! Isn't that lady just INCREDIBLE! Yoko is a 'Living Legend'! Thanks for Posting this great piece of art!

  • this sounds like one of those halloween CDs you play when kids are trick or treating

  • most of you people don't get it. She's light years ahead of the rest, plus she's over 70! How cool is that...

  • I haven't heard such shit since the Two Vigins album...glad to see her voice has improved over the years...

  • Wish that she could collaborate with Filipino musicians like Ely Buendia; Rico Blanco; Raimund Marasigan and many to mention!!

  • What if Yoko sang with Filipino singer Ely Buendia??

  • BRING DA NOISE YOKO!!!

  • then go out and do that. jeez.

  • thurston and yoko! unreal.

  • utter bullshit.....

  • I didn't know Thurston Moore still did noise as late as 2007.

  • he does a lot of noise still. pretty prolific guy.

  • oops, entertaining

  • 2-28-9 Hey it's cool, she is making her voice an instrument, deep purple did it, led zepplin did it, LOL it is interesting to say the least. Very intertaining, not as bad as some of the stuff I have heard out there !!

  • Great performance

  • I hope Thurston was on Cloud Nine, cause it got me there

  • destruyo la carrera de los beatles....

    y ahora sonic youth?

  • Thurston's always loved Yoko; he must have been on Cloud Nine!

  • where can i get this mp3? any one know how to find out where she is proforming at

  • this is just fucking wrong im sorry

  • that's not avant garde

    that's just experimental

    you need this too

you can't compose the perfect music

    music is

    hear what you want

    I like this very much

  • how is this better than modern music? this isn't music; it's an epileptic fit caught on tape. If I fart into the microphone, burp three times while puking, will you call it a symphony?

  • if it is intended to be one then i would. think beyond. the thing is, this is modern music. things have gone this way since the beginning of 20th century. we've got people like john cage, mauricio kagel, lachenmann doing this kinda things. you just havent seen stuff that is purely art music

  • even if you take a dump, if it is intended for musical purposes, then i'd call it music. you ain't know shit about music, pal!

  • It Isn't music, it's anti music. For people who think bands like Nickelback and Linkin Park have absolutely strangled the life out of everything we deem honorable about music. Kill the Beatles.

  • thursty and yoko <3 experimental heroes!

  • what is she doing

  • I think that there is not a word on the dictionary that describes that.

  • whatz the nature of experimental music stuff

  • "Mulberry" is one of my favourite song of Yoko. She's so great experimental music I like it!!

  • freedom ..something that American needs

  • I'm thinkin' John Lennon might have done better

  • she maked good music...

  • its something DIFFERENT for once instead of same old same old same old same old same old same old same old same old crap like our modern garbage we have to...."choose?" from.

  • YOKO is excellent!!!

  • everybody can bark like a dog xDDDD

  • Is she pretending to be a bee?

  • I saw her do Touch Me & Why with a really kick ass band. It actually rocked!

  • really crazy stuff, love it !!

  • fuck yeah

  • cuanto snob de mierda hay por aca jkajakjakjakjkja

todo bien con yoko pero...qe deje de robar por dios!

  • Bow down to the queen of noise!

  • I wish, with no offense to the uploader, that they had included both the intro and the outro for it. With the introduction, she says that this song is about when she was once picking Mulberries in Japan and the sounds that she heard while doing it. Then, after the song, she elaborated that she was doing this right after the bombing on either HIroshima or Nagasaki (I can't remember). What you need to remember is that above all, Yoko is a performance artist.

  • yoko is into some genesis p. orridge vibe or something here

  • I'm so used to Yoko's more song-oriented work lately that I hadn't expected her to go old-school on us again. But who better to go old-school with than Thurston Moore? Ms. Ono seems a little restrained compared to when she did stuff like "Don't Worry" and her first Plastic Ono Band album but this is still cool.

  • Thanks for the comment! Since you mentioned it, I thought I would let you know that she did perform "Don't Worry" twice, one of those times also with Thurston.

  • really great....

  • Fantastic !!!

  • Yoko is a genius. I wish I was there.

  • Thanks for this. What a fabulous performance!

  • Thanks for posting this!
