looks like your reading a script.. If people have At&t or Cingular with the thier old phones and had no signal, it's going to be no different with the Iphone.. Iphone battery does drain allot, cause you use it more plus with all the features.. So battery and signals is the bad side, but with $199 and does everything else is a great plus.. just plug it to your computer if your home, so the battery doesn't drain.. Good video, and Iphone still rocks, even better once it's jailbreak...!!

when you buy phones like Nokia, ericson etc.

thay have no bugs.

You should always have a phone wich you can trust in case of an emergency.

I have used Nokia phones since 1999 and i have not had a single propblem, not even a small glitch.

This was a good try for apple, but they cant beat experienced phone brands.

The AT&Ts celltowers has to be the problem, as the iPhone 3G doesnt have any problems with the reception in countries that have had 3G for some time.

Its too bad for some of your guys in the US that have bad 3G reception.. Here in Norway we have had 3G since 2004 or something.

no actually moron, buy your self a micro sd card for about 6 buck's and you can put the adapter in your computer and you can put anything you want from music to pics to ringtones, i know since i have a voyager moron.

1. I am the same, I get only one bar in my house but 4-5 outside. I believe 3G works such that there are fewer towers (it's newer) but the signal is stronger. My phone works perfectly on only one bar, no dropped calls, etc. I guess it works differently for different people. Hope you guys get it resolved.

2. Battery life, crashed apps, signal strength are "supposed" to be fixed in 2.1 software out this Friday. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I bought an iPhone 3G and I ended up returning it after 3 days. The reception was bad. I was only getting one bar or no service in my apartment too. Cool phone but AT&T service sucks.

Hi Jon, I hope you've told AT&T to stop "addressing" issues and solve them. :) No really, I hope that you've called them to tell them about your dropped calls issues. I worked for a cell phone company with RF engineers and it really makes a difference when customers call with specific complaints-with street addresses and details of the problem.

Yesterday, I cancelled my data plan on the iPhone 3g, because I have only been using it with wifi. It has been working great for that purpose. I do have to admit I took, have had bad reception, terrible battery, and virtually no cell-tower handoff. I am going to cancel my mobileme also, (they lost 1000 of the emails I transferred, and I was out of service about a month.) I still love the phone though.

Haha, there was 3 views when I started the video, and 54 after I watched it! wow! I also forgot to mention that the 3g coverage for ATT is just ridiculous. Verizon's evdo is way better, but they don't make a phone that synchs with Macintosh. Therefore, I haven't even experienced 3g yet.
