I've gone from owning a Tattoo to a Hero and they are both amazing phones! Get the Hero if you can afford one. If not then you can happily buy a Tattoo and enjoy the same great features but with a smaller screen and other minor changes.

Hey, got a tattoo for a couple of months ago .. works perfectly exept for one thing:

Loaded it with money yesterday (75SEK, Ca = 8 Dollars) and now I only got 30 SEK .. and I have not really made any long calls, used internet etc ..

Anyone got the same problem or can help me?

do you know the Sony Ericsson w595?`it is the same camera and i got that sony ericsson my friend told me that the Hero isnt that good and as you can see the tatoo is faster and look better (i think) you can also design you own cover too the tatoo on htc's website and im gonna buy the tatto so if you ask me i say take the tatoo (sorry dont know anything about the hero)

the screen in the tattoo is touch and hero is heat so... touch is actually bether.. there both great phones... but..... tattoo is cooler :O...

the dolphin browser dont play flashvids but you have an youtube app who works fine!

and the option too download a diffrent mobile browser!

I guess the boot up time difference is because Tattoo is running Android 1.6 and on the other hand Hero is still running 1.5...

I doubt there's a noteworthy difference in processors. It's most likely faster, as alan said, because of Donut and the fact that the Tattoo runs on a smaller resolution.

Tattoo: 240 x 320

Hero: 320 x 480

The MSM 7225 is a lower cost 7200 without a graphics processor. 3D games choke on my Tattoo (missing textures and unplayable speed).
